Don't go...... you will regret spending the $$
by cruiser92672 ,Aug 18 '07
Pros: Food is good Cons: Too many passengers. Always standing in line. Not worth the money.
This is NOT a fun ship --- although it did remind me of a Carnival Cruise. What a disappointment! There are too many passengers for the common area space --- with the exception of the pool area -- you can always find a lounge chair there. We missed most of the entertainment/shows because we could not get a seat. The ports are disorganized and again we found ourselves waiting in line to get on and off the ship (in Bermuda we waited 2 hours, in line, to get back on board). We were on the July 23, 2007 sailing. We have travelled on most of the cruise lines and this is our only cruise disappointment.
All I can say is shame on you, Princess Cruise Lines, for accommodating your greed before accommodating your passengers comforts and safety.

Baltic Cruise on Crown Princess
by trvlguy66 ,Dec 06 '08
Pros: beautiful ship, unique layout, lots of choice but having a small ship feel Cons: coffee, service a little inconsistent in dining room
Working as a professional travel consultant (http://www.carlhenderson.ca) I was on board the Crown Princess escorting a group of 16 family and friends and we were all thrilled with the experience. The Crown is a gorgeous ship with a great variety of venues for dining and entertainment.
Cabins are excellent being a good size, tastefully decorated and a nice amount of storage space. I loved the open closet concept so we didn't have to worry about doors swinging open and giving your cabin that more cramped feeling as you bump into each other trying to get ready.
The Baltic Itinerary sailing from Copenhagen is incredible. Visiting so many different countries and unique ports with of course a 2-day stay in St. Petersburg being one of the highlights. Each port is so incredibly different and unique with many of them easy to walk around and explore on your own.
If anyone is sailing from Copenhagen, make sure you add at least a couple days pre or post cruise to explore this great city too - beautiful with friendly people and easy to get around. A highlight of the trip for me.
