Pros: Aswan gave me a chance to go camel trekking again Cons: Aswan was my least favorite place, but I still liked it
If you cruise on the Nile you are probably going to end up in Aswan. I think you have to end up in Aswan but maybe there are cruises that don’t dock there.

Pros: Low-key, pleasant place relative to other Egyptian tourist destinations Cons: Less impressive monuments than other tourist destinations, other than Abu Simbel
