Definitely not Kansas

by georget99 , Dec 29 '02
Pros: Much to see and do, great food everywhere.
Cons: Transportation system confusing and can be expensive.
The first time I went to Japan, I worried about spending most of my time in Tokyo. The second time I visited Japan, I worried I wouldn't have enough time in Tokyo.

Tokyo is crowded, noisy, confusing, clean, and doesn't have to be expensive....

Pros: There Are Lots of Things To Do
Cons: Crowded, Very Crowded

Hostess Bars for Dummies

by jcare Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 500, Feb 10 '00
Pros: part of Japanese business, nothing like this in the US
Cons: expensive , don't go alone
Weird, yet wonderful .. and expensive. To a Westerner, the hostess club
is an exercise in understanding the Japanese way. Think of them as generally very small bars, where you are waited upon by charming young hostesses. In the US we go straight...
