Pros: Beautiful beaches and reefs, extremely relaxing and private Cons: Meals can be expensive, no public transportation, no shopping, not much nightlife
I recently spent about a week at Shoal Bay Villas on Shoal Bay East on the island of Anguilla. Let me tell you, I've been to a lot of islands, but this was by far the most laid-back and relaxing of them all. What a place to recharge your mental and ...
Pros: Luxury and world class service on an island that hasn't been corrupted - yet. Cons: Well, if there is one, it is the cost.
How many times have you traveled to the Caribbean hoping for perfection and then realizing that perfection means stepping over a few cockroaches on the way to the beach? Lots, I'm sure. The Caribbean is full of beautiful properties but glitches are just ...
Pros: Friendly people, beautiful weather and beaches Cons: Some of the businesses on the island (resorts, etc...) take advantage of visitors.
We visited Anguilla in April of 2002 and stayed at the CuisinArt Resort. The island is kind of tattered looking, however, they completely re-landscaped the entire property that the CuisinArt is located on and it is amazing.
Pros: Superior luxury, quality, and privacy in an idealic Caribbean setting. Cons: Price.....but it's well worth it!

Review Topic: Accommodations
Cap Juluca (http://www.capjuluca.com/), in Anguilla, is the most luxurious resort I’ve ever stayed in and it has the best beach of any place I’ve stayed. The service is as good as you could ever...
We stayed at the Cuisinart hotel during March 2003. While we were initially put off by the name, everything else was fully booked. We were pleased with the hotel. The weather was beautiful, the hotel immaculate and the service fantastic. The food at the...
My wife and I traveled to Anguilla for our 10th anniversary. There are two ways to get to Anguilla, fly into St. Marten and take a ferry or fly into San Juan and catch a connecting flight. We took the former and I would recommend it. I also used the...

Pros: beautiful beaches, nice people, good food Cons: rather pricey
Two years ago, we spent a month on Anguilla. Having traveled the caribbean and the bahamas for years, we found the beaches, and water activity far superior to those on other destinations. However, it's Anguilla's people which are the true treasure of the...
Pros: best beaches Cons: the island interior could use a little cleaning up

Pros: gorgeous, wonderful service, close to St Martin & St Barts Cons: expensive
We loved Cap Juluca on the island of Anguilla...felt like we were in another world. It is one of the highest rated Carribean resorts, and an
expensive one at that, but we went the 1st week of May, and the rates were
much more affordable. It...
Pros: Beaches unmatched in length, breath, texture and powdery-white quality by its neighbouring islands. Cons: Water has alot of jellyfish. It also sometimes gets very hot.

Pros: fun nightlife, very friendly locals, little crime Cons: everything is very spread out on the island
I'm in two minds about whether to write this review. I loved Anguilla so much - and loved the fact that it's so little known amongst western tourists- that I'm tempted to keep it to myself. But, I also want to share the experience - totally vital and...

Avoid the Fraud Fountain Beach! This roach infested motel is the worst fraud in the otherwise beautiful island of Anguilla. The American-born owner (known as "Mark No Neck" on other sites) will gladly charge your credit card for a high cost...
