Bon Bini!
When you see pictures of the beautiful beaches of Aruba, they are of this stretch of coastline, the westernmost edge of Aruba. The wind is gentle, the water is clear and blue, the sand is a fine white grain, and the palm...

Pros: Eagle Beach is clean, quite, and beautiful. Cons: Aruba has seaweed now in it's water.

Eagle Beach the BEST place to stay in Aruba by kelmcneal ,Sep 14 '03
Pros: White sand, turquoise waters, no crowds Cons: Water is more choppy than at Palm Beach (not really a con, though).
We stayed at Eagle Beach in Aruba. This is where the low-rise hotels are located. Ideal for couples. Palm Beach, just down the road, it VERY crowded. It is the high-rise area, and there is a constant wave of people everywhere. Watersports also seem to jam up the view of the beach, and create a bit of noise. Eagle Beach is more serene, and, when we were there, it was easy to get a spot on the beach. There is some topless sunbathing, but all done tastefully (usually under the huts on the beach, not people walking around). There are so few people on Eagle Beach, it hardly matters! Hardly any families or kids running around on Eagle Beach, as there were on Palm (which seems to be directed more toward families). A VERY cool beach area.
