Pros: Beautiful island, perfect weather Cons: Becoming more commercialized
Last summer we went to Aruba for a 5-night stay. We stayed at the Holiday Inn-Aruba Beach. This is located directly on Palm Beach. This is an older hotel, but it had renovations done about 5 years ago. The rooms were fairly nice and contained...

My wife and I went to Aruba for our Honeymoon 2 years ago. We loved it!!! It was a beautiful week and the island was wonderful. Since that time, we recommended Aruba to two other couples for their honeymoon and they loved it too. Next...

Pros: weather, snorkeling, great restaurants Cons: Bushiri food and beach (but still a great deal)
I just got back from six beautiful, sun-filled days in Aruba. (It's below the hurricane belt, allowing for worry-free fall travel) We stayed at the Bushiri Beach Resort, which is all-inclusive with package deals running about $1500 (including airfare) in...

Pros: friendly, beautiful beaches, too much to do Cons: too little time. sunburn!!!
Sugar white beaches, endless blue skies... an island catering to all! Aruba is chock full of adventures for all ages, and unlike other islands (Jamaica), Aruba is safe & tourist-friendly. Of course, if relaxing & kicking back is your idea of a...

Pros: Guaranteed beautiful weather, great shopping, 5 star restaurants Cons: Not the best for snorkeling, Shops are closed on Sundays!
In my quest for the perfect vacation, I have travelled to many different islands in the Caribbean, Hawaii and other exotic locations. Each having pro's and con's, I would definitely rate Aruba as one of the all around best places to vacation. Our most...

Pros: Beautiful scenery, relaxing, unparalleled weather, friendly people, reasonably priced Cons: Street dogs abound!
About 6 years ago, when I was just finishing up college, I was working for American Airlines at JFK Int'l Airport. Occasionally, I would get assigned to the Caribbean check-in area, and see all of these people going on vacation to Aruba. Occasionally, I...

Pros: Great Beaches, Great Food, Friendly People Cons: Can't move there, Hot, somewhat expensive
Aruba is one of the most unique islands in the Caribbean. What makes it so unique is it is truly a DESERT island. Cactus grows out of rock 20 feet or more in the air, seemingly with no dirt at all. The trees and other vegetation on Aruba all lean...

Pros: A fantastic night of fun! Cons: It is only five hours
Review Topic: Sights & Attractions
A silly name, but a fantastic night. When we first signed up for this trip, I figured it would be corny, instead, it was one of the best nights that we had on the island.
To...

Pros: Great beaches, warm, friendly people, nice restaurants Cons: Very strong sun, and very breezy, not a lot to see beyond the beaches
Aruba, that tiny little island off the coast of Venezuela, is a wonderful spot to spend a week or so soaking up rays and swimming in its beautiful waters. The tourism board calls it "One happy island", and it is true! The beaches and its warm...

Pros: Windsurfing, great-tasting food, people Cons: Tourists, crowded during holidays, mosquitoes, boaters, and drivers
I've gone different times of the year so this applies to all.
Of course, the first couple of times I've been to Aruba had to include siteseeing, but after that it was all windsurfing.
Pros:
Windsurfing: Great. In the...

So, here you are going to Aruba and you are debating about which hotel to stay in. Well, maybe I can help. I have stayed in 3 hotels in Aruba in the last 3 years (Radisson, Marriott, and Hyatt) and have a lot to say about each. Take a look... ...

Pros: Great tropical weather, white sand beaches, crstal clear water, great culture, great dining, fun activities for all, and a truly unique experience! Cons: Very expensive, somewhat dirty away from the resorts, Air Aruba sucks, and if you only follow the brochures, you will not get the fullest that Aruba has to offer.
Okay, a little too late, I should have written this sooner!
I visited Aruba last year, along with my fiance, and my best friend, at the end of September though the beginning of October. I had never travelled out of the United States before,...

Pros: Nice sunny island Cons: Need to plan ahead to make it a budget trip
We went to Aruba on an Apple Vacation's package. The cost of the trip changes depending on the week you go. If you book far ahead of time and pay top dollar, and then closer to your trip they lower the price, Apple will pay you back the difference. (An...
