Pros: Beautiful, and informative Cons: A little too well developed
The caves are stunning, open to the sun in places and dark as night in others these are different from Carlsbad Caverns and Mammoth Cave and are well worth seeing. The caves themselves are toured only with a guide and they have a program where the...

Pros: Adventure, fun, unique, Puerto Rico, away from the tourist traps! Cons: None...great for everyone and versatile!
Camuy Caves is a "must visit" if you are going to Puerto Rico. Whether young or old this cave has something to offer. If you are not the adventerous type, then a trolley will provide a short trip down into the large cavernous opening where a...

These caves are definitely a must-see in Puerto Rico. Although the caves are a bit far from the San Juan area they are really worth the trip.
The guided tour will take you to three different spots in the caves. The first stop takes you inside...

Pros: great side trip Cons: must call ahead

Pros: Amazingly beautiful, great gift shop Cons: none
Where ever you are on the island you must travel to see these caves. Truly one of the most amazing sites I have ever seen. While I was in there it started to rain and if your Puerto Rico it rains every day for a little bit, so it was nothing surprising ...

Call ahead!

Pros: I hear the caves are really neat, and its an educational experience good for families. Cons: Puerto Rico is hot and humid, and the unexpected can happen - be prepared!
Similar problems as stated by the family below. We drove all the way to the caves and bought tickets, then were told the caves were too full to let us in due to a school group. Soon after that the electricity went off, the toilets would not work, and there was no restaurant operating. We were thirsty, hot, and miserable, the vending machines were off. To the credit of the management, all ticket holders eventually were refunded their money, and most folks went on to the observatory. Wasted an entire morning waiting in an endless line in the heat. Call ahead!!
