Pros: True all-inclusive; SCUBA diving, beach, pools, childcare, service Cons: Cost, but deals are available; campy entertainment
My family (two kids, 3yrs and 10mos) went to Beaches Turks & Caicos for March 2-9, 2002. My husband has repeatedly called it the "best vacation of his life," mostly due to scuba diving, childcare, and friendly service.
Pros: Fabulous Beaches, No Waves on Grace Bay Beach, Relaxed Atmosphere Cons: Everything costs at least twice as much, so bring lots of moolah
Below is a general description of Providenciales, Turks & Caicos Islands, BWI - along with descriptions of my experiences from July 29 - August 6th, 2004. Hope you have as wonderful a time as I did. GENERAL I went to the island of Providenciales in ...
Pros: Great white sand beach, beautiful water, reefs Cons: Overcrowded, Understaffed, Overpriced - Beaches Resort was a terrible disappointment.
We’ve previously stayed at three different Sandals resorts in St. Lucia and Jamaica, and had high expectations for our family trip to Beaches Turks and Caicos. We were in for a crushing disappointment. I’m not normally a negative person, but the ...
Pros: All inclusive: food and activities, great place for kids Cons: Food tastes like its all inclusive, tons of kids!
I visited Sandals Beaches Resort on Providenciales, for Thanksgiving week, with 10 members of my family, ages 8 to 80! This resort is an all-inclusive package...not cheap, but worth the bucks!
The island is almost desert-like in appearance:...
Pros: nice staff, great beach, lots of water activities, kids activities Cons: Bad food, crowds/lines, boring island outside the resort
I went to Sandals/Beaches on Providenciales in Turks & Caicos for one week this summer. I was part of a group of 20 people (a reunion of four families). We had a decent time, but my overall impression is that I could've spent less money on a more...
Pros: Beautiful island, nice resort, great for families Cons: Cost, Unorganized upon checkin and checkout
Last January, my family and I visited the Beaches resort in Turks & Caicos. We have 2 small children, who were 5 1/2 and 2 at the time, so decided on Beaches because of their family reputation. We were pleased with our choice.
Pros: Beautiful water, great pools and bars Cons: Musty room, cancelled dives
My husband and I just returned from a week at Beaches Turks and Caicos. We were there from May 5-12. The weather was partly sunny most days, but very windy. We have also stayed at Sandals Montego Bay and found Beaches T & C to be much nicer in several...
Pros: Great sports. Good food. Fun atmosphere Cons: Spartan accommodations.

Pros: The best snorkeling I've ever experienced Cons: no commercialism, oh wait...is that a con?
My wife and I recently visited Turks & Caicos for the first time in September. This place has got the most magnificent water I have ever seen in the Caribbean. If you enjoy diving and snorkeling, this is where it's at! The water in the pools...
Pros: scuba, all inclusive resort with a variety of activities Cons: not much to do in town
My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Club Med in Turks and Caicos. We spent 2 1/2 weeks there in October 1996. Although we had a wonderful time, there are some pros and cons you may want to think about before booking a reservation.
Pros: Low inhabitance, untouched beaches, crystal clear water and tons of free, fun activities to participate in. All Inclusive is ingenious. Cons: Too expensive to spend a longer time that just one week.
With limited knowledge of being an adult and never having to actually PAY for such an expensive trip, all summed up, Turks and Caicos (Turquoise for short) is absolutely breathtaking. I am 15 years of age and have been to the Caribbean twice and to...
Pros: Gorgeous beaches, friendly islanders. Cons: No night life except for restaurants and no town or historical buildings.
