Pros: Prague Castle, Czech Beer, used as a base to visit surrounding towns and countryside. Cons: Tourist trap numero uno. Finding accommodation. Nothing really outstanding. Getting expensive.
Prague or Praha to the Czechs is a nice city. Now, you must be wondering if that is the only adjective I can come up with. I am probably going to get some flak for this but I will stand up to my opinion. It is a nice city to visit, but it is not a grea ...

Pros: Amazing architecture and historic sites Cons: Increasingly expensive and touristy
Prague is one of the world's most beautiful, if enigmatic cities. Marked by its parallel histories of representing mankind at its best and worst, Prague captivates you one moment and leaves you shaking your head the next. On the one hand, it's ...

Pros: Architecture, history, scenery, food, friendly people, cleanliness. Cons: Loads of tourists, persistent drug dealers in Old Town Square (they're harmless, though)
I was planning a trip to Europe this summer and knew that I would be flying into London (and staying with friends) and returning back to Boston from Paris (where I would also be staying with friends. In between, I wanted to explore another city: one that ...

Pros: A marvel of socialist hospitality Cons: which means that every sane person devoid of masochistic tendencies should stay clear
I can still remember that fateful day in late November. Our family’s plans to spend the New Year’s Eve in beautiful Prague were about to fall through. “It’s hopeless,” our travel agent in Prague told me repeatedly. “I am telling you – every five-star,...

Pros: A extraordinarily beautiful city,
Cons: Very expensive, rude staff at restaurants and tourist offices.
Just before I start, I have to apologize for the title, I know its a bit dumb.
General Info on Prague:
I don't know if any of you read my review of Budapest, but my experiences in the two cities were so different I choose not to...

Pros: Fairy-tale architecture, authentic atmosphere, low prices, friendly people Cons: Dishonest cab drivers; shabby train station
Prague is magical. It has romantic little passages, graceful black spires, crooked cobbled streets, medieval houses growing around Gothic cathedrals, fine crystal shops, great beer, and the most amazing crafts of all the places I have been to.

Pros: Many beautiful monuments Cons: Language
Having visited Prague for the first time 7 years ago, and having recently returned to it, the first thing which comes to my mind is that…it has changed a lot!
On my first visit, you could see many old Skodas and even Trabant in the street....

Pros: Beautiful and inexpensive Cons: Heavy food, pickpockets
On a whim I suggested to my boyfriend that we visit Prague for our honeymoon, should we ever get married. Little did I know, he had an engagement ring in his bag and proposed later that evening. Because of my comment earlier in the day, we had to go to...

Pros: Architecture, History, Ambiance, Bohemian Glass Cons: Pickpockets, Dishonest Taxi Drivers
We went to Prague in November when the weather was in the teens with snow flurries. This is one time to have Prague all to yourself!
The sights in Prague seem pristine and frozen in time compared to other major European cities, but there...

Pros: Prague is a breathtaking city and is a worthy destination on any trip to Europe. Cons: Western tourists are slowly stealing the heart of Prague.
Trip Overview
On my recent trip to Prague, I found the city to be absolutely breathtaking, spellbinding, and yet, devastating. I had been planing the trip for almost a year and it was to be my second time in Europe. I had decided on...

Pros: fun, cheap, lots of culture Cons: nope
Prague was a city whose unique style, beauty all its own I'd heard about for a long time and it was because of this that I pushed hard to start my trip through Europe there. I'm so glad I did.
In my opinion (and with the ability to look back), it...

Pros: Plenty of things to see, do, and buy Cons: None
At the urging of my friend Peter to return to Prague, we flew into Prague July 2000 for a 5 day visit. Prague is relatively a small city and great to explore on foot.
We started our walk through Old Town where we enjoyed an endless trail of...

Pros: Unique architecture, nice gastronomy, friendly people Cons: None
Hradиany, or castle district.
When I looked with due attention I had discovered that the whole Czech capital lies somewhat in the shadow of Hradиany - the fortress which can also be considered a symbol of Prague. While Prague as a whole...

Pros: beautiful, cheap, friendly, and attractive Cons: tourists, McDonalds, and throngs of drunken American students out for sex and cheap highs
When I was in Prague last, all I could say was that there were four things that made me never want to leave. First, it is beautiful...among the most beautiful cities in Europe. Second, it is cheap. Third, contrary to popular opinion, I found it very...
