Pros: Location, location, location. Darling. Cons: Expensive.
Summary: Hampstead is expensive. That's the first thing you have to know before coming here. It's not too bad as a visitor or tourist, but it's a killer if you live here. Just to give you a guide to the prices - a small one bedroom flat with no garden around here ... read more

Pros: Great Walking Area, Georgian Mansions, Kenwood House Cons: view over London from the Heath is flat
Summary: Perched at an odd angle atop a hill, Hamstead has kept its village atmosphere and feeling of being aloof from the pressures of the city.
