I got to study abroad through my school last summer. I was able to live in downtown Rome for roughly a month. During my entire stay the Colosseum was the most marvelous thing I saw. Sometimes I would forget I was in Rome, bogged down by a paper or classwork, then I'd see it and the history and the majesty of the city would hit me all over again. Despite its age, its so full of history and stands a symbol to remind us of the past and for me it was a reminder to appreciate everything day to day. I'm really thankful I had the chance to study in Rome and I love my school for the opportunity.  http://www.drury.edu/
