Pros: Breathtaking, life altering, fantastic hiking, mountain biking; lots to do. Cons: None
We found our way to Sedona, Arizona on June 16, 2004 with plans to stay a few days. I had to review Sedona because you must see this town. When we came home and were asked independently what the best part of our 91 day trip was my husband and I said ...

Pros: Easily accessible and spectacular scenery Cons: An abundance of New Age silliness
Cool October nights had gilded the aspen trees, but late autumn sunshine warmed me as I left the car and walked up the Boynton Canyon Vortex trail near Sedona, Arizona. The Sedona red rock country attracts tourists from around the globe. The ...

Pros: The sunset hot-air balloon ride was the best part of my visit. Cons: People who sell things will someday make Sedona seem like a cheap dive.
Sedona, known as Red Rock Country, is located in northern Arizona halfway between Phoenix and The Grand Canyon. When I think of Sedona I think about an awesome spiritual town with a sense of peace in the air.
The town in itself...

Pros: Beautiful Scenery, Great restaurants, Easy to get to, One of my favorite places to stay Cons: Is becoming a tourist trap if it isn't already, Crowded on the weekends
Three years ago, I first visited Sedona, Arizona. At the time, I had never heard of Sedona before, but we were looking for another destination as part of a trip to Las Vegas. Well, we hated Vegas, but I have been to Sedona three times now in as many...

Pros: GORGEOUS! Red rocks! Heights! Cons: Hairpin turns getting there. Make sure car in good working order.
Arizona is a state I wouldn't mind living in, at least when it is less than 90 degrees. I haven't had any experience being there when it is much hotter.
Hubby and I decided to visit the Southwest for a two-week driving vacation (5000 miles)....

Pros: Unbelievably beautiful! A nature-lover's paradise! It's like living in a postcard! Cons: Can get very crowded during peak tourist months.
Hubby and I were due for a little vacation….. child free. We didn’t have a lot of extra money to spend, so it would have to be someplace in driving distance from our home here in Las Vegas. I had always wanted to visit Sedona, Arizona. I’ve ...

Pros: Breathtakingly beautiful scenery, quaint, relaxed, laid-back, great art galleries, shops & dining Cons: Very expensive.
Nestled among giant, monolithic red sandstone formations, quirky Sedona, Arizona is evidence that utopia is indeed achievable. The scenery is fantastic... the dining is superb... and the art galleries are world-class... And the people of Sedona ...

Pros: Natural Beauty Cons: Crowds, Tourist Traps
I have been thinking about writing this epinion for the last week and how to best describe Sedona, Arizona, a spiritual and healing place that left me breathless. The beauty of the hills and towering red rocks is not presentable in verbal form. This is...

Pros: The views were wonderful! We took 9 rolls of film. Cons: It is crowded.
We spent a week in Sedona and I could have stayed longer. I feel it had something to offer everyone.

Pros: Incomparable beauty Cons: Hard to get to
I have noticed that a lot of members write reviews on Travel and Hotels and I think, it must be fun to able to travel so extensively. I'm afraid working in the building trades doesn't allow our family to get away for vacations. It seems like the best we ...

My previous employer (but one!), was headquartered in Arizona, and therefore I had the luxury to visit on more than one occasion. I have several close friends in Arizona, gained during my travels abroad with business over the last seven years. It was...

Pros: Romantic, picturesque Cons: Loaded with tourist traps, scavengers, and snake-oil salesthings.
This last weekend, my fiancee "surprised" me with a trip to a little bed and breakfast in Sedona called "The Wishing Well."
They're far enough from 89A that there's no traffic noise. They've got five private rooms, several of which have their...

Pros: one of the most beautiful places on earth Cons: none
Close your eyes and feel the warm kiss of the sun on your face and the cooling touch of the breeze as it rustles past you through the trees. Listen to the song of the birds, and the harmonizing of the water as it dances through the rocky creek bed at...

Pros: informative tours, great drivers, getting out into red rock country Cons: expense, some complaints about aching backs months after the tour
When I first learned that I would be going to Sedona, I told my former skating pro about my upcoming trip. He is from Arizona originally and said that we absolutely must take a Pink Jeep Tour. I had no idea exactly what that was but I was soon to find ...

Pros: Lot's to do, wonderful views Cons: It's getting populated.
Sedona, in my opinion, is one of the most beautiful places to visit in all of Arizona. In the two years that I've lived here, I'm sorry to say that I've only visited the area twice. Both times were equally enjoyable however and I plan on going back...
