Pros: Get to understand earthquakes Cons: only open business hours
Summary: Golden is known for Coors and the sake they produce, but it is one of the most important places for the weather too. It is the home of the National Earthquake Center. The offices are on the campus of the School of Mines and you are welcome to stop by ... read more

Pros: Authentic Old West small town with upscale touches. Cons: Small town, not much nightlife.
