Pros: Beautiful beaches. Interesting attractions. Wicked weather. Cons: Commercialised. Expensive.
Going to Hawaii would be the dream vacation for many people. I know I'd always wanted to go there - paradise on earth - or so I thought..... I had a fantastic time but any longer than my whirl-wind trip and I might have grown tired of it.

Pros: excellent diving Cons: unpleasant staff
As a current resident on oahu and an active scuba diver, I wanted to warn other potential scuba divers to avoid Aaron's dive shop in kailua. The staff is quite rude and relatively uncaring. For your money, you can do better elsewhere on oahu. Call around...

Pros: wonderful trip Cons: na
My husband and I went to Hawaii in 1992 for a second honeymoon. We visited 3 islands. Our favorite of the three was Kauai. If I had to chose only one place to visit Kauai would have to be my choice. We found the sunrise and sunset the most beautiful...

Pros: Warm, tropical, mostly sunny, very few people, views, water water water, trade winds Cons: Sometimes traffic, Kona weather is hot, not much to do at night.
I have had the great pleasure of being able to visit Maui over the years, and I can't say enough good things about my trips. Each one is different, and each one has been a unique adventure. Without getting into too much detail, I have spent time in each ...

Pros: Good food and a fun place to dance Cons: it can get too crowded at times
Okay, so you finally get to Hawaii for your vacation. Sure, you can go shopping, get tanned at the beach, sight see....but those things can be done mostly in the day. So what is there to do at night??
My suggestion.... visit the Ocean Club located...

If you want to have a REALLY good lunch or dinner while you're staying on the big island, you must go to
Cafe Pesto. They have two locations on the island. One in Kawaihae [where we went twice in three days]
and one in Hilo [never made it...

Pros: Great View, Restaurants. Cons: Charge you for every little thing.
I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki for 3 nights in a Deluxe Ocean View room. The view was wonderful! I would recommend if you stay there to upgrade! The view made the hotel worth the money. I am not a big fan of Waikiki (to many people for...

Since I have an office in Honolulu I go there about once a month. On a recent trip I found the "Dixie Grill". Located at 404 Ward Avenue (808-596-8359) it is easily found by taking the Ward Avenue turn off Ala Moana coming from either the...

Pros: Maui Ho's is really hand done! Cons: none
I know my Hawaiian Heirloom Jewelry is hand done in beautiful 14k with hand carvings all around the band, and 'kuuipo' hand done in calligraphy. I know, because I went to Honolulu and visited the factory where all but one of the jewelry dealers I had...
