The arts is not my favorite cup of tea but when I went here I was pleasantly surprised.
Some things like the poetry readings and classical and jazz concerts I might not enjoy as much as an art lover but they are fun to watch.
Beautiful Building, Offers Things to Do by nevadawest ,Sep 01 '09
Pros: Scenic! Daily events. 2 Gift Shops, parking available. Extensive Library! Cons: Expensive to rent!
I attended a gorgeous event at the CCC in December 2008; very beautiful building. Great for parties and galas. There are stained glass windows, diamond-laced chandeliers, and even the bathrooms look "pretty." The lighting is terrific, as is the view of the city out the large windows. Offers nearby parking and contains two gift shops. They have daily fun little events, like poetry readings, open art galleries, and more that you can attend. (All accessible for wheelchairs & strollers.) They also offer educational workshop programs and studio courses. Open for weddings!!! HUGE Library/reference area.
