Pros: Friendly Hospitality, Bourbon prepared Foods, Cons: None
Louisville International Airport sits in the heart of the city and is only a couple of minute ride to downtown. Stop by the Visitor Information Center in the airport for a good itinerary and suggestions of things to see and do.
The first...

Pros: Lovely, the park is great for the community Cons: Speckled with random strangeness
I saw this place in a dream once. In the dream, a fiery Volkswagen beetle came flying out of a parking garage, across the street in an attempt to throw the radical drag queen freedom fighter over the railing, a 20 foot drop down the floodwall into...

Pros: great place Cons: none that i am aware of
I live in Louisville,KY, right here on the Ohio river. This is a busy, up and coming city. We are not too large, but not too small. We have more than our share of great resturants. Our Kentucky Center for the Arts is one of the best in the country...

Pros: full day, lots of fun, feel like a kid again! Cons: parking is tricky. You have to plan some kind of strategy, because when you leave you'd better be going with the FLOW or you'll sit for a really long time! It's better to park as close to the highway exit as you can and just walk to wherever you want to
This is the biggest fireworks show -- 44 TONS of fireworks -- and most beautiful, well timed, awe-inspiring show imaginable! This is one of the many events that kicks off the Kentucky Derby Festival. You can catch it this year, April 15, 2000. ...

Pros: Pretty, lots of events Cons: Racial differences strongly expressed, police are spectators instead of doing thier job.
I have good things and bad things to say about Louisville KY.
The good things are the great events held here, such as The Kentucky Derby, and all the events that go on associated with it.
We have horse races, Louisville Motor Speedway, a great...

Pros: Excellent seating, great landscape and setting Cons: -none-
If you haven't been to Louisville recently or at all, big things are coming to life. The first stop for any baseball buff must be the Louisville Slugger Museum. With its monument of the world's largest bat outside you know they are serious about...

Pros: Exciting, fun, and friendly Cons: Doesn't get much attention
Trust this review.... it comes from a person who just returned home from Louisville less than a day ago.
It was my husband's business convention which brought us here, a first time for both of us. And in 3 short days, we both fell in love...

Pros: Great place to go! Cons: .
The firs time I ever stepped foot on ground in Louisville was during high school. Our orchestra had been choosen to play at a meeting there overall many others. It was a blast! We stayed in the Galt house there and this place alone was breathtaking!...

Pros: A scenic town, that is easy to navigate. Cons: Doesnt live up to its 16th Largest title in any way.
As I was thumbing through the reviews on the city of Louisville, I couldn't help but notice that most of them are almost 4 years old, so I figured I would throw a new one into the mix. Louisville, scenery-wise is a beautiful city especially in spring ...

Pros: Excellent filets, side dishes, great wine selection Cons: price is a little high, but well worth it
I am sure it is easy to say this since I am from Louisville and have a rather biased opinion. Most people have heard of Ruth Chris' Steakhouse. We finally have a Ruth's here in Louisville so I saved up, took a second mortgage and went to try out the...

Pros: Cheap! Location Cons: None
Because Epinions hasn't yet set up restaurants reviews for Louisville and because Louisville has such great restaurants for a town of its size, I have put some of the better restaurants under the travel section.
A semi-new Mexican place has...

Pros: Coconut Shrimp Cons: Paying to park?!?
If you want to go out to a nice, quiet, romantic dinner OR if you want to go out to whine, complain, and grouse about how life has treated you so bad,DON'T GO TO JOE'S CRAB SHACK!
Joe's has been declared, by me, "A Grouch-Free Zone."...

Pros: pretty in the spring; great food Cons: congestion on Bardstown Road
Although most people think of Louisville as the home of the Derby, Louisville Slugger baseball bat and the Colonel who made fried poultry so famous, there is a lot more to this city that refers to itself as the southern most northern city and visa...

Pros: All in one area, great prices, great selection of musical genres Cons: It's hard to leave once you get there
Review Topic: Shopping
I am among those troubled Gen X-ers who often times mutters the phrase "There is nothing to do!" I get bored fairly easily, it's true. On the days and nights that I feel particularly bored and...

Pros: Great News, Weather and Traffic Cons: The other 48 minutes of programming each hour.
WHAS used to be the premier station in Louisville. A winning combination of news, music and talk on a 50,000 watt clear channel station that could be heard in a majority of states certain evenings.
Unfortunately, the station has seen a...
