Pros: Good value, lots to do Cons: none I know of
Circus Circus is a casino that you can take the whole family to.
They have a theme park with rides for the kids (and adults too).
Inside they have free circus acts going on every hour that you can watch. Near the circus acts are a ton of those...

Pros: inexpensive, very entertaining Cons: hot in August! Lots of walking
My husband and I went to Las Vegas when I was six months pregnant with out second child (anticipating this would be our last getaway for a while!) My expectation of "The Strip" was one hotel after another, each beckoning me to come inside a...

Pros: Q-tips in the bathroom Cons: Terrible customer service
My husband and I were in Vegas to visit family and attend a wedding. We stayed at the Regent in Summerlin (were most pleased) and thought it would be fun to book our last night at Mandalay Bay to enjoy their sandy beach pool, wave maker, and lazy river...

Pros: Very pedestrian friendly!! Cons: They are much too liberal with smokers. The smokers make the place stink!!!!!!
I stayed in the San Remo, but was able to see and do a lot on foot. I rented a car but didn't need it very often. In some cases it was easier to walk. The 'free' monorail system and the pedestrian walkways make it feasible to not bother with a vehicle...

Pros: Lot of action, easy to get around Cons: Traffic
On my Las Vegas trip, I stayed in the Imperial Palace, which is located roughly in the middle of the Strip. If you don't have a mode of transportation, try to stay somewhere in the middle of the Strip, but even if you are at one of the hotels on the...

Pros: It is so fun you won't believe yourself. Cons: If you don't like walking this is not for you.
Las Vegas strip is a holiday that everyone has to experience at least once in there life. There is so much to do and so much too see that a week hardly seems like enough. If you are a gambler than this is the holiday you will love the casinos are...

Pros: Can this be any better? Cons: Very crowded at times
Last april I took a trip to Vegas with the family, it was the best thing that we did in a long time. We stayed at the Monte Carlo, and what a nice atomosphere it was. Friendly people everywhere, a choice of over 7 restaurants just in the lobby! Then I...

Pros: delightful entertainment Cons: expensive
i am not a big fan of artsy performances or circus acts. but mystere at treasure island combines both in a mystical and enchanting way. it is circus with an attitude, fast paced humorous at times, ominous at others. the costumes are fanciful renditions...

Pros: This town is 24/7, you'll never get bored. Cons: Not exactly a place you want to go if you're offended by nudity.
So much to see, so many things to do. Las Vegas is the only place where walking down a street is entertainment enough. You see the landmarks, the hotels, the casinos all of it is great. There is something happening every where you turn. Ive ...

Pros: Awesome entertainment, food, shopping, and relaxation. Cons: Crowded and crazy...all of the time!
Las Vegas is officially our favorite vacation destination. A great deal of that love for Sin City is the adventures we find on the Strip. I went to Vegas for the fourth time last summer and we had an absolute blast. The Vegas strip is like no other ...

Pros: too many to list Cons: a little costly ($75)-but well worth it
This is Jennifer, the Cirque-obsessed former-usher returning from yet another Cirque Experience. I have seen other Cirque Productions (Dralion, O, Quidam) numerous times, and fell in love with each. But I hadn't been moved so strongly since the first...

Pros: so much to do concentrated in a few blocks Cons: so many people doing all that stuff
The Strip (or Las Vegas Boulevard more literally) is the home to so many 'bests' - most hotel rooms in the world - largest hotel in the world - that you definitely know you are in America - no matter how few of the casino/hotel properties actually have...
