Pros: Neat and educational things to do with the kids Cons: None
So, You are planning a trip to Las Vegas and you are going to take the kids? Twenty years ago, this would have been a crazy idea, but now Las Vegas is a much more kid-friendly place to visit. There are lots of things to do and the kids will probably...

Pros: Quality customer service and excellent steak. Cons: A table near the bar can get a little noisy, so try to make a reservation for one of the other dining areas.
Review Topic: RestaurantsAnother upscale steakhouse has arrived in Las Vegas, and this one is definitely a keeper. Most everyone knows about Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and Morton's of Chicago, but has anyone heard of Del Frisco's Double Eagle...

Pros: Cool convention Cons: Heat, people, vibe of depression and hopelessness
Review Topic: Overview
The first thing we saw when we got off the plane in Las Vegas was slot machines. They were clumped in the center of the terminal, blinking and chiming. We had to walk several yards out of our way to go...

Pros: Where else can get married in under 2 hours? Cons: Sometimes, marriage in under 2 hours is its own drawback.
On a whim, I and my then-fiancee decided to go with a friend to Vegas to meet up with a couple other friends who were already there. Before we managed to get out the door of the house for our little 30-hour jaunt there (include 4 1/2 hours driving time...

Pros: Many other things to do besides just gamble, if you look in the right places Cons: The food, endless crowds of people day and night, but mostly at night
Back in September of 1996, our family decided to take a car trip from Dallas, Texas to Las Vegas, Nevada. Yes, a 26-hour (one way) road trip with 2 children, who were 5 and 8 at the time. My husband was attending a 10-day convention for the Laborer's...

Pros: Great video poker, good comps, good food. Cons: A little smoky, a distance from other attractions.
[This is not a review of Las Vegas in general, but of the Suncoast casino, which Epinions does not currently include.]
One of the newest casinos to open in Las Vegas is the Suncoast, owned by Coast Resorts, the same company that...

Pros: Quick, Painless, Cheap Cons: It is a Long Way from loved ones and home for the out of towners.
LAS VEGAS MARRIAGE REQUIREMENTS
You need no blood tests nor is there a waiting period. Nothing like that is required of couples wanting to get married in Las Vegas.
The legal age is 18 for men and women (proof of age is...

Pros: very short mountain drive, good snowmaking, pricing Cons: short runs, not for hardcore CO type skiers!
*Ching!* *Ching!*
If that's the sound of the last quarter in your pocket sliding in to the maw of a slot machine in Las Vegas, perhaps you'd like to take an afternoon off from the smoke-filled casinos and travel about an hour to the healthier...

Pros: Variety of restaurants/sushi bars to choose from. Cons: Some are definitely better than others.
Well, you didn't want to just eat buffets on the strip all the time.....did you? So, I'd say that it's high time for some sushi! I can understand if you're not into sushi, but if you haven't tried it who knows.....it could be your new favorite food.

Pros: Hotel attractions, good food, safe atmosphere Cons: None
I had my preconceived notions about Las Vegas as a place of gambling and legalized prostitution, but little did I know that the City of Vice featured the glamor of the European City of Lights and the elegance of Venice. Gambling and...

Pros: There is no place else on Earth quite like it. Cons: Thank God for small favors!
"A Town So Tough That Staying Alive Is A Full-Time Job!" was the title about a feature article on Las Vegas, NV in Playboy magazine, circa 1977. I took particular interest in the story, as I had been a resident of Vegas since 1970, and was...
