I just love it when all people think about Las Vegas are the hotels/casinos, the gambling, and the strip shows. Some people are quite surprised that when they go outside of the Strip/Downtown areas, that there actually is a city just like most others...

I felt as if I was in a different world as I stood in the court yard of the Alexis Park Hotel among the white stucco and palm trees, mohawks and leather. On almost every pool side table...

Pros: As you can see the rates are no more different that in other parts of the country.
Cons: That the room rates are subject to change, depending on the season, holiday, day of the week, size of room of course, and the incentives offered by the hotel.
