Pros: COASTERS, COASTERS, COASTERS! Worth the price of admission. Cons: Drink prices. Bring your own cooler and leave on picnic tables by gate.
I'm 53 and grew up in Ohio so I've been going to CP since I was a kid and the big ride was Blue Streak. Now I take my kids even though we live 7 hrs away. Despite what some say, the lines aren't too bad except for the coasters. And compared to other ...

Just came back from Cedar Point with my 15-year old son - the 9-hour drive from New York was VERY long but definitely worth it! We are both roller coaster fanatics and had a great time. I was hoping the crowds would be manageable, being the last week in ...

Pros: Cooler than Florida
Roller Coasters Cons: Coasters are down for repairs too often.
My daughter is a roller coaster fanatic, so she absolutely loved Cedar Point. The Amusement Park is laid out well, and the cost are comparible to other parks (which is still too expensive!). We bought a Sunday night - Monday Package from one of the ...

Pros: customer service Cons: rides built for smurfs, lines (no fast passes)
I just came back from getting a full refund at Cedar Point. I could ride all of two rides. This was not a weight issue. I am 6'5" and weigh 250. I simply could not fit into the rides due to my shoulder width and height. Also I could not ride the ...

Pros: some big rides, lakefront, some nice views, decent weather Cons: LINES, weak theme, little else besides rides, price not justified
I went with a group of friends, and we were pretty enthusiastic beforehand. It was a 2 hour drive from our hometown of Columbus. I read lots of raving reviews and expected a lot. My friends were a little skeptical about the lines and waiting times, ...

Pros: Great location, plenty to do in and out of park Cons: Expensive (but worth it)
Crowded
If you live near Cedar Point, consider yourself lucky. If you don't live close by, consider a trip to Sandusky, Ohio. It's location right on Lake Erie is ideal. Buy a one or two-day pass to the park and enjoy some of the best roller coasters in the ...
