Pros: Top Notch Atmosphere Cons: Occasional, short-lived thunderstorms
Cedar Point, located in Sandusky, Ohio, is the best amusement park in the country, in my opinion.
The thing that sets it apart from the others that I've been to - Six Flags Great Adventure, Six Flags Great America, Disney, etc., is the atmosphere....

Pros: NO Lines!!!! cheap Cons: shorter hours, less smelly people to enjoy.
Yes you heard it right. I went with some friends from college and we rode the rides without waiting longer than few minutes. The secret is timing, timing, timing.
Plan your Cedar Point trip for September or October. Yes, you heard me right!...

Pros: It is a great park. Well worth the price. Cons: I did not meet one employee that was nice.
If you need help in anyway be it to find a bathroom or to get something down that you want to buy. Don't ask for help because they act like you are bothering them. I have never seen such bad customer service in my life. Many people are coming here to...

Fantastic (Highly Suggest VIP)
by laz3 ,May 26 '08
Pros: Once in a lifetime Cons: Bad food and warm beer
I went VIP to Cedar Point last year with my wife, sister-in-law, and her husband. It was well worth the experience! The VIP cost is high, however we wanted to jam it into one day. Lines for Maverick and Top Thrill Dragster were over 2 hours long, so if your one that despises lines or have flashbacks to communist Russia bread lines, go VIP. You can ride any coaster at any position, any time! No worries about food or the ride breaking down, just plop down some cash and you get an escort through the exit and load the ride as the previous rides get off. I have to admit, it is an odd feeling riding up the loading gate and meeting up with someone who has been in line for 2 hours but forced to wait just one more turn

WORLD CLASS COASTERS
by gggggeorge ,Jan 28 '04
Pros: Lots of great coasters, short lines, great staff Cons: Closest airport is Cleveland, an hour's drive
More coasters. Faster coasters. Taller coasters. There was even this "kiddie" coaster that threw us around pretty well! If you're going for the coasters, you can't leave this one alone. Good prices on day passes, and even better if you get a package from nearby hotels. Check out their website. This place has more coasters than any place I have seen or heard of. The Top Thrill Dragster is now the tallest and fastest in the world. The Millenium held that record in 2000, so of course it's still pretty big and fast. The food was okay...not great...but not bad. They sell beer in the park, and I like that, but we didn't see any unruly people. This park is not very educational, and it doesn't have "theme" areas, but it does have COASTERS! There are plenty of picnic areas and smaller rides for families with little ones. If you're big enough for the big coasters, this is the place for you.

a great park for all ages!!
by shadowrocks88 ,Feb 23 '05
Pros: clean, fun and a variety of rides and things to do and see Cons: expensive to get in and to eat!!!
We have been going to Cedar Point ever since I was a little kid. Everytime we enjoy ourselves. It is a nice clean park with rides for all ages. There are fast rides and slow rides something to please everyone!!! The admission is expensive and so is the food, but where can you find an attraction park that is not expensive!! Depends on what day you go, if there will be long lines!

Best Coasters but one of the Worst parks
by mytemp095 ,Jul 08 '07
Pros: I have no complaints about the rides even though there were frequent breakdowns. Cons: Not enough free water, expensive tasteless food, very loud music while waiting in line.
I visited Cedar Point on 7/03/2007 and have no complaints about the coasters there. BUT! The food prices and quality are bad. Eight dollars for a cheeseburger basket which is nothing more then a burger with partially melted cheese and a blob of greasy fries. Three dollars for a bottle of water. How much profit do you need to make? Not enough water fountains and the pressure is turned down, probably to make you buy the $3.00 water. Very loud music blasting in your ears while waiting in line. Especially on the Raptor. Filthy rest rooms.

AMAZING PLACE! ROLLERCOASTER HEAVEN!!
by redwings4545 ,May 31 '06
Pros: Roller Coasters, VERY CLEAN, good food, just all around great time!! Cons: Expensive, other than that NONE!
We went here for the first time in July and we had an amazing time!! They have 17 roller coasters and we rode almost all of them and the rides are so fast and furious! You have to ride Millennium Force, Raptor, MAVERICK, TOP THRILL DRAGSTER, Mantis, Magnum, Gemini, and there are pleeennnty more. And of course there are more than coasters, tons of thrill rides, MaXair, Skyhawk, Power Tower, and just tons of family rides. They have hotels you can stay at and they have great resteraunts, Macoroni Grille, Bay Harbor, Famous Daves, Sports Bar and plenty more. They also have like 10 different shows and the ones we saw were very entertaining. Come to Cedar Point, but I recommend staying more than 1 day, because you need all the time to do it all. Thanks for reading!!

Cedar Point - America's Roller Coast!
by orlando0327 ,Mar 23 '07
Pros: Amazing Thrill Rides! Enough to keep the whole family occupied all day! Cons: A bit expensive, but it's well worth it!
Cedar Point has always fascinated me. As a child, I looked forward to the Berenstein Bears and Cedar Downs. As I grew older, I couldn't wait to ride roller coasters like the hanging coaster, Iron Dragon and Disaster Transport, the complete darkness indoor coaster. My first ride on the Magnum XL roller coaster was unforgettable. As the train slowly clicked it's way up that huge hill, I kept my eyes squeezed shut until I was sure we were at the top - but we weren't; in fact, we were only about halfway up!!! That drop was amazing! I went on to ride the Millenium Force when it debuted - words cannot describe that ride. If you are looking for thrills, this is the ride! I have not ridden their new roller coaster, but if it's Cedar Point, you know it's done right!
My family took a trip to Cedar Point every single summer, and I still look forward to it. I love getting off the rides and hearing that famous quote, "Enjoy the rest of your day here at Cedar Point, America's Roller Coast!"
