  • Disney's California Adventure Should NOT Be Missed!!

Oct 15, 2007 by mrkstvns is a Top Reviewer on Epinions in Hotels & Travel

    Pros: Cool rides, short lines
Cons: Feels more like a "Six Flags" park than a "Disney" park

Summary: Families with really little kids will want to hightail it across the plaza to Disneyland and all the classic magic of Disney's original theme park. If the kids are a bit older though, California Adventure packs the bigger bang for the theme park buck. ... read more

Pros: it's Disney, clean, a few great rides
Cons: high single-day price, little for small children, misplaced theme.

Summary: The main positive of California Adventure over Disneyland is that you won't spend as much time in lines and the park is less crowded overall. I've been to the park once, and despite a couple of memorable rides, don't see a compelling reason to go back. ... read more

Pros: Some really great shows and rides, clean and pleasant to walk around, not very crowded
Cons: A few theming issues, lousy food service

    Pros: Quality Rides, Less Crowded
    Cons: Little Expensive

Pros: A place you end up when DL is FULL but OK if it's free.
Cons: Very few good rides, not worth the full admission price.

Summary: OK so why am I writing this opinion? first Im not a discgruntled employee, or shafted guest. Im just a normal guy with a family who has to watch his dollars or the rent doesn't get paid on time. I have been going to Disneyland since I was something like ... read more

Cons: The littlest kids don't have as much to do here.

Summary: Disney's California Adventure has received so much negative press in the past few years, it has become the whipping boy of the Disney chain. Even Mad TV and The Simpsons have taken pleasure in ripping on this park. In reality, though, this ... read more
