    Pros: shaded lines, good rides
Cons: bad food and high prices

Summary: My daughter's GS troop dragged me all over Libertyland last Saturday. It was great fun, but I'm sure not 17 anymore. I took the 3 biggest girls, and we rode EVERYTHING. Well, almost. Not one of us wanted to go on the Kamikaze (aka the ... read more

    Cons: Laughingstock of locals

Summary: Libertyland is an eyesore to the locals in Memphis. Not only is it the laughingstock of natives, it's located in a crime-riddled section of town. In its heyday, Libertyland was a small, sparkling amusement park. There are many stories from the ... read more

  • Libertyland: Elvis Rode The Zippin Pippin Here!

Rated a Very Helpful Review by the Epinions community

Pros: There are several rides, some shows and games, admission is pretty reasonable.
Cons: It's definitely small potatoes compared to the big theme parks.

Summary: Libertyland is home to North America's oldest operating wooden roller coaster--the Zippin Pippin. My mother used to ride that coaster when she was a teenager. Somehow the thought of something being that old always made me a little nervous. ... read more
