Pros: Roller Coasters, Friendly Workers, family fun Cons: lines are sometimes long, can be pricey
If you are in the Cincinnati area, then you have to check out Paramount's Kings Island. This place had got it all: roller coasters for big and little kids. For the big kids check out the Beast, the Vortex, Outer Limits Flight of Fear, and the Son of...

Pros: cool rides Cons: cost of things
Paramont’s Kings Island, is one of the best theme parks in the Midwest. It has a little something for everyone. It has fast fun rides, carnival rides, kid rides, and water rides. It’s one cool place. I enjoyed it immensely when I went. Let’s just...

Pros: family oriented Cons: long lines, pricey
The park is located off I-71, Exits 24N and 25S, about 24 miles north of downtown Cincinnati.
The best time to visit Kings Island is in April, May, and October, when the attendence is lightest. The best time to visit the King Cobra roller coaster,...

Pros: yes the coasters are great but the aggravation is not worth it Cons: the biggest complaint is crowd management and lack of control and blase attitude from everyone
I am a Gold Season Pass holder at Kings Island and it will be my last. I am dismayed and discouraged about the state of the park, it's employees, and it's lack of crowd management. We went recently and the overall experience was poor at best. Being a ...

Pros: has mostly original rides, Boomerang Bay, Beast and Son of Beast Cons: non-original rides, face off and flight of fear, expenses
First off, you must NEVER go left (or right) when you first get at the park. This is because the #1 coaster (in my opinion) is straight ahead, near the back part of the lot. You all know what ride I'm talking about...BEAST. Second, ride rides with ...

Pros: *The rides are fun Cons: *Expensive!
*Bad Customer Service
*Deceitful Business Practice
I took my finance to PKI in April and we had an awful time. We called and asked how busy they were and they responded with saying "below moderate" YEAH RIGHT!!. When we got there an hour later the line for entering the park war about 100 yards long. ...

Pros: Lots of rides for the little ones Cons: Expensive food
My family and I decided to take a closer vacation in 2001. After much research my husband decided Paramount Kings Island was the place to go.
There is a huge area for the under 6 set which is almost like its own amusement park because it is...

Pros: This is a great park for thrill-seekers and children alike, lots of attractions Cons: I don't know of any
With thrill rides like DropZone, Vortex, The Beast, Son Of Beast, and Tomb Raider this is definatley a thrill-seeker's park. Also a section, large section, devoted to the kids. In the kids section children can meet the Hanna-Barbera and Nickoloden...

Pros: Very nice park Cons: not very handicap friendly
We recently visited Kings Island in July. My family and I had a wonderful time the first day. There were not many lines except for the few you thought there would be. We only waited 20 minutes for the Son of the Beast which we expected much more. We...

Pros: great rides, the beast, outer limits Cons: sometimes long lines, more whole family rides
If you go with family expect to split into two groups - those wanting to ride the thrill rides and the less brave. There are not a lot of "in between " rides to hold both groups captive.
We were fine with that and split up. It was a crowded...

Pros: the rest of the park Cons: the jerkiness
Don't get me wrong, I love Kings Island. I like most of the rides, shows, shops, and food. But, the Outer Limits roller coaster is another story. I knew when I saw the sign: PLEASE REMOVE ALL EARRINGS, I was in trouble. It twists and turns inside...

Pros: less crowded than most Cons: not as large as some
Being from the South, where waiting in long lines in the hot sun is a given at theme parks, a visit to Kings Island recently was a pleasant surprise. Of course, you wait in line at ANY theme park, especially during a weekend day and during the summer....

Pros: Good fun for the money Cons: Long lines on weekends for most rides
Living only an hour or so away from KI, I have literally been there at least one time per year for most years of my life. I have also been to several theme parks all across the country and KI is still my all around favorite. If you are a coaster...
