Summary: All my life my mother and I have gone to this zoo, I only grew up about 5 blocks from it, so whenever we had a chance we went to see all the animals and now I also find myself taking my son whenever the chance and weather arises.

Cons: your feet may be tired at the end of the day and of course it can be stinky! :)

Pros: Great Time, Wonderful Atmosphere
Cons: Some Displays were closed when we went :(
Summary: We took the family here just a few months ago and we had a wonderful time. The Zoo was very clean and well maintained, and there was a wide array of species for us to visit. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, and would highly recommend it to anyone

Pros: Conveniently located; Layout is easy to figure out; Wide variety of attractions
Cons: Carousel is an extra cost
Summary: There is so much for kids to do! The children's zoo is a something different to have at a zoo and it really gives the kids a chance to interact with the animals. My kids love to paint their faces and wade in the stream in the back of the Family Play

Pros: Great naturalistic exhibits
Cons: Very large and somewhat spread out, lots of walking.
Summary: Brookfield is very large and spread out, but has lots of animals. Their summer butterfly exhibit is excellent as is the Wolf habitat. The wolf habitat is a natural setting, but you are very close to the animals. Brookfield has an excellent primate
