Pros: Clean areas. Wonderful landscaping. Location, location, location. Cons: A bit expensive. Not a huge variety of animals.
Summary: I have been to the Indianapolis zoo about six or seven times since it opened at its current location. Some trips were taken with school groups, but I have been there a few times on my own since then, and find it a nice escape from the ordinary.

Pros: Many nice exhibits in natural settings without glass. Cons: Expensive and too many play areas.
Summary: The Indianapolis Zoo is a very clean well maintained urban zoo. It is a bit expensive however at $12.50 for adults and $7.50 for children. If you go at the right time of year and like flowers you can add the botanical garden next door for just $1.00
