Pros: Great shark display area, good dolphin show, lots of stuff Cons: Dated, shabby exhibits, poor traffic flow, unhelpful staff
Summary: I love, love, love, aquariums. Definitely obsessed with them. The primary reason hubby and I added a couple of days in Baltimore to our East Coast trip was to visit the National Aquarium in Baltimore. As it turned out, we loved Baltimore, but I ...

Pros: A way to spend time, some nice exhibits, the tropical forest Cons: Parking is attrocious, prices are unjustifiable, exhibits are stale unchanged
Summary: As a native Baltimorean who has visited the Aquarium a number of times, I have to say that my most recent visit was by far the most disappointing. Let's start with parking, if, that is, you can find any, which you can't because there is no parking ...

Pros: Rainforest exhibit was fun. Dolphin show area very clean with enthusiastic trainers. Cons: Dry, tasteless pizza in cafeteria. Some employees seemed 'semi-enthused'to be there.
Summary: I am a big fan of aquariums. How can you not be amazed by the sheer variety of piscine life on display at most of them? From graceful rays to hammerhead sharks to colorful anemones, it can be pretty breathtaking. I was in Baltimore for a ...

Pros: dollar specials, dolphin show Cons: parking not on site
Summary: The National Aquarium in Baltimore is a great place for the family. One would think what would babies like here, but it is a great place for toddlers and older children. The dolphin show is great, but I am sure there are people that have seen better. ...

Pros: neat sights, beautiful views Cons: pricey, crowded, rushed for time, no strollers aloud
Summary: Well, all in all, the Inner Harbor of Baltimore is just a very picturesque area. The aquarium is the area's hot spot, and there are thousands of tourists daily coming to visit the area. Expect a short wait to get in on busier days, and keep in mind that ...

Pros: Location of Aquarium Cons: price seems a bit steep
Summary: I took my seven year old son to the National Aquarium in Baltimore this summer. We sidetracked en route from Philadelphia to Detroit and it was worth the extra hours of driving time. I had been there years before and was pleasantly surprised to see all...

Pros: Even if you don't think you have time, make time to see this in Baltimore. Cons: Can sell out in peak periods.
Summary: If you are going to Baltimore, then be sure to pencil in some time for the Baltimore National Aquarium. This is the neatest aquarium I’ve ever seen, and I’ve traveled a lot. If you have 2 to 3 hours to spare (and even if you don’t), then this is...
