This zoo was quite disappointing to me. I felt as though it was just a long stretch of land with animals. It was not as interactive as i would have hoped, and the animals weren't quite as impressive as I would have hoped.

I went with my 22 month old Son to the Zoo on April 8,2006. I Have lived in San Antonio most of my life and have been to this Zoo countless times. What I saw on this visit was not a well kept Zoo; for the animals or the people visiting.

The price of admission recently went up....I expect more for my money.

I asked a Zoo Keeper about the Seals; I was told they passed away. I want to know why this happened? Could it have been prevented? Was it of natural causes? Too small of an exhibit, lack of health care?

I think the Patrons of The San Antonio Zoo deserve a much better place to take their Families for a memorable and enjoyable time.
