Pros: Terrific snow, no crowds, big area

Summary: We went for a day on the shuttle (minivan) from Big White. It was a Thursday and very quiet. The bakery was excellent for breakfast and the deli great for lunch with good soups. The terrain was varied.

Pros: Awesome terrain and snow Cons: not very many hotel rooms
Summary: I've been skiing at silver star mountain for 9 years and it gets better and better.I am a ski racer and I have been to almost all of the resorts in B.C. Silver star has terrain for all levels of skiers and snowboarders.

Pros: Fast Chairs, Short Lines, Good Snow Conditions, Good Lesson Program, Friendly Emlpoyees, Close to Vernon Cons: Not Much

Pros: No crowds, nice terrain, unpretentious Cons: No nightlife, too flat at summit
