Pros: challenging terrain, great lifts, quaint ski village
    Cons: not cheap

Summary: The alpine ski resorts of the Tyrolean region in western Austria offer some of Europe's most pleasant and challenging ski resorts. St. Anton am Arlberg is one of the most famous resort areas in the region, and it's a spectacularly beautiful place to ... read more

Pros: Extensive skiing terrain, happy hour, tyrolean village, easy access to Lech & Zurs.
Cons: Difficult for beginners, getting into town center if lodging up the valley, costly cabs

Summary: I vacationed at St Anton with 6 friends during late February of 2006. We all took the train from that various airports where we arrived (Munich, Zurich, Innsbruck). The scenery of St Anton is beautiful and the town lies along a long main road. ... read more

Pros: Excellent slope quality; proximity to other good resorts; good atmosphere, apres ski!
Cons: Weather can vary; challenging for beginners; potential long walks to accommodation.

Pros: Fantastic views, friendly people, well organised ski passes and lifts
    Cons: Not so challenging runs.

Summary: To make this trip magical, you must fly to Innsbruck to get to St. Anton’s. As you come into the airport you fly through the Alps via a narrow valley. It makes a magical experience and a brilliant start to what will be a great holiday destination. ... read more

Pros: Huge ski area covered by lift pass, very accessible off piste, great apres ski
Cons: Nothing much for beginners, pricey resort

Summary: I have just spent three months in St Anton and what a place it is, the skiing is fantastic although I would only reccommend it for good intermediate and above skiers. The ski area covers the villages of St Cristoph, stuben and the nearby resorts Lech ... read more

Pros: Town, Nightlife, Food, People, Skiing!!!
Cons: Having a rough time with avalanches recently

Summary: We went to St. Anton two years ago and loved it. The town is very charming and the nightlife is quite active. Drink hot wine at one of the many yellow-tented bars around the town or even on the slopes. Have goulash at the local restaurants for lunch. ... read more

    Pros: Skiing for experts
    Cons: it is very expensive

Summary: First of all your German is as bad as my English, because it`s called Lech or St.Anton am Arlberg and not Arlburg. I have been to St.Anton several times in my life and I think that St.Anton is one of the most difficult ski resorts in Europe (I ... read more
