Pros: Peaceful, charming, beautiful resort, free from package tour holidays!
Cons: Low altitude, lack of connection between slopes and aging lifts.
Summary: I have now visited La Clusaz twice (2001 and 2002). Both years I stayed in chalets run by locals, rather than staying in hotels. The price is reasonable and you get far more space so well worth considering. A search on the internet will reveal many ... read more

Pros: so much to do
Cons: you don't want to go
Summary: La Clusaz is absolute beauty. The atomosphere given out alone, gives such a lovely feeling. I will write a review to try and describe, as best I can, how wonderful this place is.

Pros: Picturesque, nice atmosphere, variety of mountains
Cons: Bad connectivity between the 5 mountains
Summary: The title tells you everything that is good about La Clusaz. It is one of the oldest ski resorts in France, it is picturesque, close to the beautiful town of Annecy (worth a visit), and has retained much of its original character.
