Cons: Expensive, hotels get booked fast

Cons: old lifts, not much variety of pistes, danger of avalaches

Cons: Expensive, limited scope for beginners

Pros: Great skiing, excellent nightlife, many young people.
Cons: Expensive, bad food (on the slopes), crowded.
Summary: Verbier lies in the Swiss Alps, in the canton of Valais. This is synonymous with great snow and lots of sunshine year-round. Not to mention lots of typical Swiss specialities.
