Pros: Dry natural snow, wide and accessible terrain, well managed, and the view
Cons: Its a hike, long queues some days, cold
Located between tourist hubs Queenstown and Wanaka, Cardrona has dry snow, lots of terrain, good facilities, and its well run. Offsetting this only slightly is its long access road, crowds on busy days, and its cold climate. But these are quibbles. ...

Pros: helpful instructors and great food for lunch in kiosk
Cons: if you are new u will fall flat on your face skiing but practice makes perfect!!
From Beginners to Advanced, this place caterers for everyone. I went as part of a group touring all the best ski places on the south island of New Zealand. This was one of my two favourite places, the other being treble cone.
