Pros: A great place to take a family skiing! Cons: Its not free!
Man, this crazy world is just whirring around me too fast for my mind to keep up with. I'm going to close my eyes, lean way back, and transport myself back to Breckenridge, Colorado. We spent a magical white Christmas there last year.
Pros: beautiful location, wonderful town, lots to do and see year-round Cons: minor things at the resort
My husband, 19 mo daughter and I travelled to Breckenridge in early October, which is during "mud season"--in between summer and ski seasons. It is not a peak travel time, and it was obvious--no crowds, lots of special deals around town. First, let ...

Pros: Great town, lots of character Cons: Very tough mountain, mediocre lift system
Breckenridge is a real ski town rather than a strip-mall at the base of a mountain, thereby giving it the character that's lacking at its neighbors in Summit County: Copper, Vail, Keystone and Arapahoe. It's a great destination resort, especially for...
Pros: Close to Denver, Ski School, Good for families Cons: More of a resort, Limited backcountry skiing
Breckenridge mountain in Colorado is a more of a resort than a ski mountain. Although I myself would rather go to a less popular skiing area, Breckenridge as a whole is a good time. There is a plenty for the kiddies to do along with the adults. I went...

The rich mining history and the dedication to preserving that history make this a great vacation spot in...
Pros: varied terrain, lots of advanced trails Cons: narrow, crowded catwalks; difficult for people of different levels to ski together
The first thing you notice about the Breckenridge terrain is the way that it is divided. There are four different peaks, each served by its own lifts and connected by catwalks, which are often treacherous.
Pros: interchangeable tickets, free shuttles, great town Cons: crowded, no night skiing
The view is awesome. In late November there was only a base of about 6 inches, but being from Michigan that's what I'm used to. The slopes were in great condition, but got sloppy around 2pm. You're pretty much done skiing there by 4pm because there are...

Pros: Too many to mention Cons: cant think of anything bad to say
Have just returned from Breckenridge after having spend 10 days skiing 4-14 April 07, great resort lots of character, more then enough runs to keep the average skiing family entertained for a week, there are plenty of runs that also kept my 15 year old action man son occupied and challenged, whilst we were there we had fresh snow on at least 7 days, loads of accommodation to choose from, the same applies to the selection of places to eat in the evenings, another great attraction is the opportunity to ski other resorts using the same lift pass and free shuttle buses. All in all highly recommend Breckenridge to anyone considering it for a skiing holiday.
Pros: Actual town not a town built on a resort. History. Too many activities to list. Cons: Some resturants can be expensive.
My family goes to Breckenridge quite often. Any time of year there is usually some king of festival or event that is fun for the whole family. The skiing is fantastic as long as you avoid the big holiday weekends, Presidents Day, etc... In the summer, it is difficult to decide what activity to do next because there is so much to do. Spring is good but the fall is georgeous. The weather is perfect in the fall an the colors are amazing. This is the perfect location for a great family getaway!
Breck review: from POWDERESCAPE.COM by ccorrao ,Jan 27 '06
Pros: Perfect little town, diverse terrain, easy to get to. Now with some needed advanced terrain. Cons: Crowded on the weekends, snowboarders beware of sneaky flats. WINDY!
Breckenridge might just be Colorado's perfect ski town. A picture perfect historic main street lined with beautifully preserved Victorian buildings, now transformed into a ski town with all of the amenities of a great resort. On the mountain is an intermediates dream. Long winding cruisers make up the majority of the mountain. This year Breck opened a new lift to the top of the mountain, the Imperial Express Super Chair - this is the highest chairlift in North America at 12,840 ft! This opens up 400 acres of expert and extreme terrain and adds over 900 feet of vertical. This is why Breckenridge literally has something for everyone, moving it up on our list to #8.
