Pros: ski in/out...easy access to slops.....good to stay in Cons: that price MIGHT be expensive (not sure)..none
Brekenridge has a wide variety of lodges around its ski slopes. I have come to notice that beaver run is the best lodge to be in. Beaver run provides ski in and ski out. Beaver run is right beside the quad lifts, so it provides easy access to its slopes....

Pros: Good conditions, powdery, all levels Cons: Expensive, Bundle up,
Breckenridge is a great family ski resort. Last January our family went to Breckenridge for 5 days and had an incredible time. It has skiing for all levels. The lines went quickly as there were many lifts to get you to all parts of the mountain. The...

Pros: Beautiful scenery, exc resort, lots to do in the area Cons: Indoorsmen will be bored
Grand Timber Lodge is a new (opened within the last year) ski-in, ski-out facility in Breckinridge, CO. The place is mostly timeshare, but individual rooms & suites can be rented by the day/week.
The units themselves are first rate, as...

Pros: Rich History, Nice skier amenities Cons: Potentially pricey lift tickets
Breckenridge truly is a slice heaven. The town has an old world charm and unique family environment that few other ski areas in Colorado offer.
The rich mining history and the dedication to preserving that history make this a great vacation spot in...

Pros: varied terrain, lots of advanced trails Cons: narrow, crowded catwalks; difficult for people of different levels to ski together
The first thing you notice about the Breckenridge terrain is the way that it is divided. There are four different peaks, each served by its own lifts and connected by catwalks, which are often treacherous.
There are offerings to suit any...

Pros: interchangeable tickets, free shuttles, great town Cons: crowded, no night skiing
The view is awesome. In late November there was only a base of about 6 inches, but being from Michigan that's what I'm used to. The slopes were in great condition, but got sloppy around 2pm. You're pretty much done skiing there by 4pm because there are...

Pros: Many runs & lifts, different size lifts help people get up the mountain quicker Cons: Very crowded. Lift tickets are expensive, if you don't have a Buddy Pass.
The first time I went to Breckenridge was during Thanksgiving weekend, 2000. Unfortunately, so did most of the residents of Colorado! Only 24% of the trails were open due to the poor snowfall that had occurred before Thanksgiving, and given the number...

Pros: A real town with a history back to the 1800's. Skiing, Hiking, Biking, Sailing, Romance. Cons: Traffic and parking are issues.
I was born in Breckenridge and live here full time with my family. I try to ski for two hours in the morning as often as I can, as it puts a smile on my face for the rest of the day. Having grown up here, I really had to go elsewhere in order to get some ...

Pros: Easy and Predictable Cons: Easy and Predictable
It is BORING if you have advanced skills. The lifts start 1/4 mile further down the mountain than they should and end too early. Breckenridge is a fine place if you are a beginner or an intermediate. It is an EXCELLENT place if your kids are much better...

Pros: Denver Proximity, Excellent Ski School Instructors, Custom-made for family day trips Cons: Needs a better restaurant, Expert areas need to be expanded.
Breckenridge is definitely a ski resort more geared toward families and students than the avid Adrenaline Junkie.
The slopes are well maintained, the Ski School is one of the top-rated in the country and the instructors are well known for their work...

Pros: variety of trails Cons: price of tickets
Breckenridge is a great place for skiing. My family currently owns a house right off of one of the ski runs. We manage to make at least two trips out there each year. Not only is Breckenridge a great place to ski but it is also a fun, small town with...

Pros: So much fun Cons: None
I recently took a six day vacation at the ski town Breckenridge, Colorado. I looked at many places to go for my trip and I ended up choosing Breckenridge and I am sure glad that I did. It is a small town about 100 miles form Denver where skiing is the...

Pros: Fun for everyone, nice staff, many nice hotels to relax at, and great skiing year round. Cons: Easily conquered by expert or advanced skiers.
For an East Coast skier Breckenridge may seem like frozen paradise, until you go to other more advanced terrain in Colorado. There is fun for the whole family with entertainment, a nice town nearby, and great skiing slopes. Your snot might freeze, but...
