Pros: great trails, friendly people, good prices, fun for any level of skier Cons: way out in the country of northeastern Pennsylvania, not quite comparable to the "famous" ski resorts out there
Summary: I learned to ski at the ripe age of 5-years old on the Bunny Slope at Elk Mountain. Though I've been to many other ski resorts throughout Pennsylvania, I always return home to Elk Mountain.

Summary: I grew up at Elk, so my opinion may seem a bit biased, but read on... I have a reason for being so opinionated about ski areas.
