Pros: Great visual effects Cons: What they lacked in musical ability they made up for in VOLUME
Summary: Saw Blue Man "Complex" at Rosemont Theater near Chicago. Since "Complex" is billed as a Rock Concert I wasn't surprised to see a warm-up group take the stage and then another....but I was surprised some one and a half hours later not to see any Blue men. ... read more

Pros: None Cons: Loud, no point to it, playing with food
Summary: I would not go to this unless you like really loud noises. Enjoy seeing food splattered around the room. I thought it was awful and lucky for me I got free tickets to go because if I had paid $43-53 I would be really mad. Save your money. It was not ... read more

Pros: it ends eventually Cons: what a waste of talent.
Summary: "Blue Man Group" is a celebration of excess that contains the sneaky message that maybe excess isn't so good. When you walk in from the street, the theater's ceiling and walls are layed over with plastic tubes that look disconcertingly like the tubes ... read more

Pros: Five year old boys will think this is GREAT fun. Good drumming, I confess. Cons: If you're not a five year old boy, it's trivial entertainment. Loud, rather lame, overrated.
Summary: Based on raving reviews (from my own father as well, no less) I was expecting something really spectacular and amazing. What I got for my $70 was...well...tedious. And sinfully wasteful, at the finale. Made me mad enough to walk out.
First, ... read more

Pros: One or two entertaining moments Cons: too long, verrrrry sloooooow, extremely repetitive
Summary: I had heard so much about the Blue Man Group that I went to see them at the Luxor. I won't say what happens in the show - because if you do finally go see it - then I don't want to spoil the two minutes of fun you'll have in this 90 minute bore-fest. ... read more

Pros: Cool music and lighting Cons: Boring skits, only 20% of the show is worth seeing
Summary: I usually agree with the majority and I am not one to write reviews, but this time I had to, specially after seeing so many good reviews (weird!!). I was expecting excitement, a "musical journey" (whatever!), talent and cleverness, but I walked out of ... read more

Pros: to few to mention Cons: lasted to long. 1 1/2 to long.
Summary: I recently took a trip to NYC to check out this world renowned showing of the "Blue Man Group". Before I decided to attend the show I read a couple of great "epinions" before venturing off. The epinions spoke of how fabulous the show was and that I ... read more

Pros: It was less than two hours! Cons: Pretty much the whole experience.
Summary: After much anticipation, I had the opportunity of seeing "Blue Man Group."
I was sadly disappointed. I went in to the experience not really knowing what to expect. I also feel that I appreciate art in all different forms. However, after ... read more

Pros: Innovative, some of it is fantastically entertaining. Cons: Some bathroom humor, nothing new in their show since it opened.
Summary: Blue Man Group: Tubes is performance art unlike anything else on stage now. I didn't find it as thrilling as many people have, but I did enjoy it.
Tubes is a combination of wonderfully unique and entertaining elements, such as their paint can ... read more

Pros: Creative, wonderful rhythms, imaginative Cons: No great message or seriousness.
Summary: I felt the percussion was filler more than "songs," but the drumming adds something very fun to the mix. Having just seen the group in Chicago, fifteen minutes from Rush Street by cab, my 15-year-old son and I laughed and shook our heads for two hours ... read more

Pros: Eclectic, stimulating, surprises lurk everywhere Cons: If it wasn't for the fact Chicago is more than 3 hour drive, I'd go 2 or 3 times a year!
