Pros: Clean cars. Wide spread availability.
Cons: Reward system quirky. Minor issues with some employees.
Summary: Avis has plenty of cars and good coverage for travellers. They have a points program, but don't take points from airlines or anywhere else to help you reduce rates. Most of the employees in most locations have been helpful, efficient and polite.
