Worst Rental Company Ever

Pros: cheap rates Cons: cancel your reservation poor customer service rude employees
I do not usually rent from Enterprise, but, their rates were cheap, so I decided to give them a try. Well, the adage "you get what you pay for" applies to them. I walk up to the counter, and they don't have my reservation in their computer. When I show them the printout of my reservation with a confirmation number, they tell me they canceled it since I didn't show up on time (not that I did that by choice, my flight was delayed!). They refuse to give me a car, or even help me find a rental car from another company, even though they are merging with Alamo/National and their counter was right next door.
But, if I want to wait until the next morning, wow, they will have a car for me. I guess cars randomly appear over night. There was no manager on site (they were both on vacation, so they could not be reached), no one who could make a decision, or anyone who cared. And, funny enough, other people could pick up cars, but, they had later reservations. What car company makes reservations for more cars than they own?!
Pick Enterprise, you'll be left stranded.

Enterprise - Incompetent or Intentional Liars?

Pros: Friendly service, availability Cons: Misquoated rate, Lost Car, Charged me for their mistake
I would suggest using ANY other car rental service. Enterprise has some serious flaws with their rental company. Perhaps they are not connected nationally as expected.

Customer service and attitude sucks, experienced thrice, they stay at the same level

Pros: got a cheap car Cons: unprofessional selfish and uncaring for customer. all three times I have rented the cars
Never going to rent again and please avoid I'll tell you, just charge in excess and cutomer service is the worst and I mean it. Just trying to fool people with no business ethics. You'll find out with your first rental itself. Top down approach of selfishness.

great service for a change

Pros: great service Cons: none
I used the Enterprise car rental in Newark NJ (near the airport) last week. The guy working the counter who checked me in, walked me to the car, helped me put my suitcase in, showed me how to adjust the seats and mirrors and use the windows, lights, wipers, etc. I have never had this kind of service at a rental car before, and it was the lowest priced too! Every other rental company I've used acts like I'm a big pain in the neck if I ask them to show me how to use the headlights, etc; I've wandered around in the parking lot looking for which car is supposed to be mine, and I've never had anyone lift a finger before when they see a petite, middle-aged woman (me) struggling to get a huge suitcase into the trunk. I will definitely be going back to Enterprise for all my rental car needs.
