We loved THE TOWER OF TERROR! We were at D.W. in February and my 10 year old daughter still talks about it! I think the total darkness is one of the things that makes it sooooo scary...plus, of course, the Big drop..... my only suggestion is to Hang on!...

This is one of the best rides at MGM, besides rock-n-roller coaster. This is a very good ride. The only problem with this is that it always breaks down and the line is always so long. Now, you can get the fast pass, which will keep the wait time down...

Tower of Terror has a new sequence...I can't really tell the difference...but its STILL SCARY, STILL HAIR RAISING, and STILL the BEST ride at MGM.

Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Perhaps the greatest rides at Disney's MGM Studios. The movie is a ride. This ride takes you into The Twilight Zone. And into the very real Hollywood Towers Hotel. You are transported to that very night when the Tower of Terror came alive. It's a thrilling ride where you become those individuals who died in that same elevator. This ride takes you through the the Tower of Terror with a plunging end. I survived, will you?

Pros: Good family ride, good waiting area, great theme
Cons: The lines are always long and the ride is pretty short

It's a good ride and a lot of fun. It's bark is much worse than it's bite. The theme is intense, but the ride is just fun, not very scary. You will drop a couple times and that's it. My 8 year old loved it!

Pros: Never gets boring!!
Cons: Not for those who might get motion sickness or Vertigo

That's all I can say about the Tower of Terror!!! I didn't think I would like it, boy was I surprised!! It really shook me up. Plus, there are different ways that the ride can go! But eventually, they all end at the bottom! I didn't think it would be appropriate for my younger children, (ages 8 and 6). They however, insisted on following their big sister (16), so off we went!! We had one bang up time on it!!!

I remember walking down Disney MGM's Sunset Boulevard and seeing the ol Tower for the first time when I was like 7 years old... Did I go on it? Hell yeah I did!









4 years later, that is. And with good reason! This ride is very scary for young kids. The buildup to the drop is intense for anybody, I don't care if your 6 or 36, you gotta be somewhat scared/excited before the drop(s). This ride is almost 10 years old and it hasn't lost any of its charm. Its extremely thrilling, exciting, and scary. The drops are still breathtaking. I think this will go down as one of the best thrill rides... EVER.

Pros: Unlike anything you've ever experienced
Cons: Tight spaces, intense experience

This ride is unlike anything you'll ever experience. It's definately not for the faint of heart however. Even if you feel like you're ready for it, it will certainly give you a fright or two. The fear is mounted not only in the drop itself, but in the dark, claustrophobic atmosphere. From the moment you step into the elevator to be seated until you exit at the end of the ride, you'll be on edge. It's not something that can be easily written about, it simply must be experienced. This is one attraction that cannot be missed!

Pros: Fun ride, great experience, great cast members
Cons: popular, long wait

This ride really captured the feeling of being in an episode of the twilight zone. The building is amazing.
The view at the top is worth the ride and well worth the wait.
