Pros: romantic.. fun and beautiful Cons: pricey food
I have visited epcot various times, and out of all the times that I have visited, the world showcase is one of my favorites. Not only do you have a piece of the world at your fingertips.. but you get to learn a great deal as well.
Pros: nice boat ride, beautiful interpretation of Mexico Cons: products in the mercado were overpriced
I appreciate Disney's replicas of different countries. Mexico is no exception. It is laid out nicely from the inside out. There was one thing that Disney did not capture, however. The prices of products that are sold in Mexico.
Eating inside the pyramid is an experience I never grow tired of by goblue1954 ,Nov 23 '05
Pros: The restaurant, the ride, the crafts stall, and the cool interior. Cons: Can be a wait for food in the restaurant.
I've been going to Epcot since it has been open, and love the Mexican pavilion. It is my favorite part of Disneyworld. The pavilion is built in the shape of a Mayan Pyramid. You enter it - the Mexican crafts area is quite high quality with good prices if you like that kind of thing. You then enter a large interior courtyard that fools you into thinking you are in the center of Mexican Village at night, with dark blue lights, and fresh breezy air conditioning that is a welcome relief from the frequently torrid conditions outside. The water ride which reminds me of its a small world is very nice, and the restaurant in the pyramid had really good food. Notice to people who are not familiar with Florida- it can rain every day in the summer, and other times of the year too. Orlando is best visited November - May.
