Pros: Super organization. Nice metals. Excellent crowd support. Helpful residents! Cons: Too many people. Shirts shouldn't be given out until you FINISH!
I ran the LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon 2004. I am a very mid talent runner. I finish averaging between a 9 and 10 minute mile. It had SO many people that careful attention had to be given at all times. You actually have to be alert all 26.2 miles as the crowd never thins out. People were constantly stopping in front of me. It was like running The Peachtree Road Race ( the biggest 10k in the world in Atlanta) for 26.2 miles.
