Pros: Efficient, predictable, generally clean, priced right, trained trainers, YOU CAN BUY ONLINE Cons: It is "mass market", sales people ARE pushy, and sometimes they are "driven" mercilessly
OK, I was an Exec at 24 Hour. My non-disclosure is expired . . . so here goes. It's a great organization, for the most part! It's mass market fitness, but priced accordingly. There are tens of thousands of employees, most, not all certainly, are ...

Pros: There is one on every corner Cons: Lying, Cheating & Legalized Stealing
If the members (or prospective members) could see what really goes on within this corporation, this company would be out of business in 24 hours (no pun intended). I have never seen such high pressure, under-handed tactics used by anyone as they are...

Pros: Open 24 hours Cons: Provide unhealthy climate for exercise and unsafe gym due to plethora of weights on floor
San Marcos, CA If you can suspend your workouts during the warm season or prefer to exercise in oppressive heat, then this is the gym for you. As you're aware, this last season was inordinately hot. I endured many uncomfortable workouts believing ...

Pros: Great equipment, Nice staff, open all day and night Cons: none
I've read several reviews suggesting the busy evening hours make this gym bad. Well, for those of you who've never been to a gym before that's the way it is at every good one. Just like rush hour in any big city this is something that is universal....

Pros: Great juice bar and fitness classes. Besides the management/customer service, the employees are nice. Cons: You will receive poor service from management upon contract renewal. Bad parking area.
There were numerous leaks that took over a year to fix. Looks like they've finally fixed the leaks and removed the buckets that were less than two feet away from the exercise equipment. Warning, don't exercise on carpeted floor in the gym. One word, ...

Pros: Decent selection of equipment and facilities (gym near me) Cons: Sales reps like auto dealers, disgusting customer service, high cost
A few friends work out at 24 Hour Fitness near my home in Mililani, Hawaii. One gave me a two week pass to try out everything at the gym, and so I went expecting only to have to sign a paper and see if I like it or not. Before I got that far, however, a ...

Pros: Multiple locations Cons: Poor Customer Service and Unfair Charges
I chose 24-Hour Fitness as my gym because I assumed they would be straight forward and honest. Recently, however, the corporate selfish grin was displayed quite grandly to me. I set up a automatic payment from my bank account. I did not regulate this ...

Pros: Any "Pros" aren't good enough to justify treatment I received. Cons: Dishonest, Unprofessional from club personnel to phone reps.
I have been lied to from the day I walked into the Meyerland 24hour fitness in Houston, Texas. I purchased a membership via website for $150 / 90 days. The first day in the club I was sold a full membership and told the amount I paid online would be ...

Pros: Horrible and greedy corporation. Once they have your money, it's all over. Cons: All 24 Hour Fitness wants is your money. They do not care about you.
24 Hour Fitness is the Worst Gym EVER!!!!! And I thought Bally's was bad. 24 Hour Fitness is the worst gym EVER!!! The corporation has no heart, NONE! After promising a young trainer that I would sign up for the largest training packet--30 sessions ...

Pros: Free pass Cons: You must redeem the free pass!
If you are reading this, you are probably like me. You received a free pass of some sort. Thought it would be nice to go for a workout, but encountered the most absurd and obnoxious staff person on the face of the earth. Perhaps the galaxy. In ...

Pros: In Orange County, 24 is your only option. That's not a pro. Cons: 15 words can't begin to cover all of it.
I've been to all the 24 Hour Costa Mesa locations. Here's a quick round up of my experiences. -24 Hour Sport 19th Street This club is way over due for a make over. The upstairs weight area is cramped, and poorly vented. Like all Costa Mesa 24s ...

Pros: Nice equipment and facilities. Good location. Cons: My membership was revoked when I complained about being injured by film equipment.
24 Hour Fitness revoked my membership whem I politely asked them to please ask the film crew to be careful after I was struck on my bad knee by a light stand sticking out dangerously in the hallway. They did not refund my enrollment fee and are still...

Pros: Cheap, many locations, my trainer Cons: Customer DISservice Reps, old clubs, Club is filthy (Lynnwood, WA)-showers will make you puke!
Pray that you never have to call their Customer Membership Disservices number. The Reps are combative, ill informed on policies (or trained that way), rude and on par with collections agents. When you call their main membership number, you will find ...
