Pros: Any "Pros" aren't good enough to justify treatment I received. Cons: Dishonest, Unprofessional from club personnel to phone reps.
I have been lied to from the day I walked into the Meyerland 24hour fitness in Houston, Texas. I purchased a membership via website for $150 / 90 days. The first day in the club I was sold a full membership and told the amount I paid online would be ...

Pros: Your basic gym. Weights and machines, some okay classes. Cons: Rude and inept people running the place.
So (and here I'm echoing several other epinionated folks), first of all when my housemate and I went to sign up for 24 Hour Fitness both of the meatheads that we spoke with at the Club could not, or rather WOULD NOT talk straight with us about the rates....

Pros: Lots of west coast locations easy to locate via their web site Cons: Everything else. Steadily declining chain. Here's why.
I have been a member for two years. In that time the clubs near me have 1) stopped giving out free towels, 2) stopped being open 24 hours, 3) disconnected all the stereo devices attached to the workout equipment, and 4) had turnover high enough to spin...

Pros: Cheap membership dues (in my case at least), many locations. Cons: Lack of leg and shoulder equipment, very little free weights, won’t turn AC on.
This review is about the 24 Hour Fitness locations on Mason Road and Fry Road in Katy, Texas, and all of the "sport" clubs in general. I joined the Mason Road club back when it was World's Gym about 8 years ago, and it was fantastic even after 24 Hour ...

Pros: Nice equipment Cons: Cons are their specialty.
Signing up at their gym is like visiting a car dealership, as soon as you approach the vultures start to circle. Having already been through the haggling BS many-o-times, I was very direct with the salesman. I told him I've been through this gym sign-up ...

Pros: You can workout there Cons: Pressure tactics, pushy sales people, is there more to life then taking your money?
This is my first review here and I had to sign up just so I could let others know about their business practice.
I received a 6 month free membership deal so I took it over there to get signed up to start working out. I left there two hours...

Pros: Good machines Cons: Long waits at peak hours, poor customer service
I joined the SF location which was close to my work. I did enjoy going to the gym, it used to be very crowded in the afternoon and the bathrooms were not very clean. Anyway even after canceling(San Carlos area) with them 45 days before (actual is 30...

Pros: Can't think of any. Cons: BAD Customer Relations Management!
I was a member at 24 Hour Fitness since 1997, and I am writing to give a brief detail about an unexpected situation that happened to me at club 304 in Houston recently. I have been living in New York City for the past three years (where I cannot take ...

Pros: Location, some workout machines are clean (i'm pretty sure), good monthly price. Cons: Dirty pool. REALLY DIRTY. showers too dirty to clean you. Crowded (sometimes). arrogant, in-your-face sales.
I heard about this place from a relative. I heard it was good. Hmmmm. I still managed to keep respect for my relative. I went to a "24 Hour fitness sport": had tredmills, bikes, workout machines, free weights, (etc.), a basketball court and a ...

Pros: cheap Cons: Dirty, poor quality and bad customer service
I joined 24 fitness with little hesitation, since hey, according to all their online publicity, I can get 10 days free and then walk away.. Well, that's not all true, for most packages, your time is up after 5 business days, then you are locked in ...

Pros: Cheap, many locations, my trainer Cons: Customer DISservice Reps, old clubs, Club is filthy (Lynnwood, WA)-showers will make you puke!
Pray that you never have to call their Customer Membership Disservices number. The Reps are combative, ill informed on policies (or trained that way), rude and on par with collections agents. When you call their main membership number, you will find ...

Pros: Numerous Locations Cons: Corporate Greed
Few would dispute that Nordstrom securely captured the title of "Best of Customer Service Quality" when they issued a confused customer a full cash refund for an off road, Big-O tire. Less well known, however, is that Nicki Taylor's...

Pros: Convenience- in a mall. Cheap. Obviously. Cons: Dirty, deplorable service, overcrowded and no parking at night.
It's too bad, because the facility is pretty decent, but the people that run it aren't qualified to run a 7-11. Here's why: Although they usually provide soap/body wash in the showers, they always run out. It's so nice to get in the shower, all sweaty ...

Pros: Decent selection of equipment and facilities (gym near me) Cons: Sales reps like auto dealers, disgusting customer service, high cost
A few friends work out at 24 Hour Fitness near my home in Mililani, Hawaii. One gave me a two week pass to try out everything at the gym, and so I went expecting only to have to sign a paper and see if I like it or not. Before I got that far, however, a ...
