Pros: Designed Well; Good Location; Nice Front Desk Staff Cons: Unclean Locker Rooms; Poor Equipment Maintenance; Un-Supervised Children Permitted; Limited Professional Assistance
The Agassi 24-Hour Fitness in Las Vegas continues to be one of the classier fitness facilities in Vegas. Additional positives have come into form during the past year; perhaps tied to several new members of the staff, which includes new fitness ...

Pros: Cheapest gym I know of Cons: Incompetent staff, lack of proper equipment, false advertising
I came out to the Bay area for the summer for an internship in Redwood City and did much research on gyms in the surrounding area, finding that the most cost-effective gym was the 24 Hour Fitness in San Carlos. I signed up through an internet offer...

Pros: open 24 hours, lots of weights Cons: under qualified trainers, expensive
Getting a membership at 24 Hour Fitness was one of the longest and most boring tasks I have ever fortaken. The so called "trainer" that gave me a tour had absolutely no idea what he was talking about, and obviously had never lifted a weight in...

Pros: Open 24 hours Cons: Provide unhealthy climate for exercise and unsafe gym due to plethora of weights on floor
San Marcos, CA If you can suspend your workouts during the warm season or prefer to exercise in oppressive heat, then this is the gym for you. As you're aware, this last season was inordinately hot. I endured many uncomfortable workouts believing ...

Pros: Relatively cheap, lots of different kinds of equipment, and many clubs. Cons: Lack of air conditioning has developed into a major problem at all clubs.
I've been a 24 Hour Fitness member for more than three years. Overall, I've been satisfied with the value offered. That's not to say that everything's been perfect all the time. Occasionally, they run out of soap in the locker rooms, and the ...

Pros: Multilocations, several membership plans, convenient locations and hours of operations. Cons: Quality control at the clubs is not consistent. Some clubs are great and some aren't!
When I moved from Nashville to Dallas, within the first week I was searching for a new gym. Who would have thought it would have been such an ordeal?
The first club I visited was a 24 hour fitness club. It was conveniently located in North...

Pros: open ALL the time Cons: lack of variety of machines; too many opening fees
For those people out there who don't have a lot of time to fit a workout in the middle of the day between work, classes, and errands, 24 Hour Fitness is probably for you. It is open ALL THE TIME. It's great motivation too, because alas, I can no...

Pros: The number of different location Cons: The variety of equipment
I decided to join 24hr only after my cousin joined and he was able to get me a deal. The deal was for $15 per month plus enrollment fee. This made signing up for the gym a good deal. The 24hr chain is adequate for just working out without the extra...

Pros: Price negotiable, many classes, 24 hours Cons: Crowded, staff/trainers s*ck, can get stuffy
I joined this gym when they were called "Family Fitness" in So. Cal. About a year and a half later they merged w/ a No. Cal. company (whose name I forgot) and became "24hr fitness." I went there because it was close to my house, cheap ($12), and the...

Pros: relatively inexpensive Cons: cleanliness
I Joined 24 hour about 2 years ago, at a time where the principle facility in Omaha was being built and the temporary quarters were marginal at best. All the firm's money was sunk into the premier location being built and nothing was spent on the upkeep...

Pros: They have clubs all over the Bay Area. Cons: When they upgrade their clubs you can't use it anymore.
They changed one of their regular fitness clubs to one of their higher-priced "Sport Club". When they were all done with their renovation the staff wouldn't allow me to use that club anymore. I have paid for an "All Club Membership" since 1998 and ...

Pros: affordable, and open 24 hours Cons: typical gym mentalities inside by employees
I joined the gym after I needed a alternate place to do my walking and exercising for my home program through physical therapy. I went into the gym, mainly because it is close to my house, and open anytime. I was greeted by a typical gym employee and...

Pros: Good equiptment, lots of amenities Cons: Sales people, misleading name, cost
24 Hour Fitnees is quite possibly the most well-known of the gym-chains. They have 117 branches in America and even some in other parts of the world. The convenience of having so many gyms is one of 24 Hour Fitness' main selling points; if you are on a...
