Pros: good gym, some good spinning classes, friendly staff on the most part Cons: small aerobics room, HORRIBLE customer service
I joined Gold's about 7 months ago. I told the membership office that I would be returning to school in the fall. They said, Oh no problem, if you move out of the city, all you have to do is write us a letter a month in advance and staple a copy of your ...

Pros: free weights, good looking girls, ok machines Cons: very expensive, not a gym a social scene, limited cardio
Golds gym is pretty equiped with free weights that one needs in order to get a complete workout. the only thing is, when you go in there, all it is is a social scene. it seems like people are only there to hang out and talk what is going on that night....

Pros: great facilities Cons: stupid staff, newbie UNFRIENDLY, no transparency with details of promos
I signed up yesterday for an annual membership at one of the branches in the Philippines, because they offered a good deal on the annual fee. However I am sorely disappointed by the extremely poor customer service provided by the employees. I had spoken ...

Pros: large quantity/variety of equipment Cons: Child care abysmal!!
Must sign up for popular classes 1/2 hour before they begin
I have done a lot of health club shopping around, and toured our local Golds gym. I have two children, 8 and 4, and would need child care on a regular basis. So, the quality of the caregivers, and the childcare facility is very important to me. And, ...

Pros: Facilities and staff are terrific Cons: Cost to much
I use to have a membership to Gold's Gym in Florida a few years ago. My main purpose to join was to tone and also maintain my weight and figure. I must admit that the staff was helpful with teaching me different techniques. The facilities were in top...

Pros: complete workout place with bells and whistles Cons: heavy sales pressure
This review is for Gold's Gym Palumbo Dr-KY. When I decided to exercise regularly about a month ago, one of the first places I checked out was Gold's Gym. It's a 2-story healthclub complete with a pool, women's only area with strength training ...

Pros: My son does enjoy the weight training equipment at Golds. Cons: Billing 'misunderstanding' has cost us a lot in time and aggravation.
I bought my son a Gold's Gym membership in Round Rock, TX. It was charged to my mastercard. A few months later, I lost my card, so cancelled it, of course. The Golds automatic charge was declined. They called me about the declined payment and I ...

Pros: Nice and new, steam room, sauna and tanning. Cons: Lazy clueless employees there for a paycheck & could care less about you.
Clean and nice place but the employees are clueless and are very lazy. I was challenged by the assistant general manager Jessica about if I was serious (so she would not waste her time showing me around). She didn't react ...

Pros: Many locations to choose from Cons: Intimidating atmosphere, Rude corporate personnel
I was a member at the Gold's Gym in Merriam, KS for 10 years. I always paid my membership dues up front in full. After leaving the gym to try a new gym, I received a phone call that my account was 2 months overdue. Apparently even though I paid my dues ...

Pros: none Cons: overcharges for services, trainers never available if you workout after regular work hours
I was a member of Gold's Gym for a year. I joined because I wanted to get in shape and the club was near my house.
Joining is expensive to start, and seems like this changes constantly. I joined when I did because they discounted the joining...

Pros: none at all. Cons: Need I say more.
I joined Gold's Gym in Canton, GA, which was 5 miles from my house and was told that I could cancel my membership if I moved more than 50 miles away. I got divorced and I did move 50 miles away -- actually 200 miles away. I called the director and told ...

Pros: clean facility, plenty of equipment Cons: Everything! - Customer service, faulty equipment, poorly educated trainers, overpriced gear and protein shakes
I joined Golds Gym when I relocated due to a new job. I had been at two previous clubs and never had a problem. I should have known from day one there would be problems when they lost my credit card info. Not exactly something you want anyone to lose. ...
