Pros: Program DID work for me, I lost 10lbs in the first month. Cons: Run around customer service, they offer you coupons just to get you off the phone.
First shipment, no problem. I received it in about 3 days. Second shipment is another story. I was on auto ship, which means they are supposed to automatically debit your account and ship a new order every 28 days. So I should have received my second ...

Pros: Convenient, great variety, pretty tasty, easy to grab quick on the go, satisfying meals. Cons: Small portions (again a pro and a con), some food not very good, expensive.
I decided to try NutriSystem even after reading some of the negative reviews because I REALLY want to lose some weight! I read so many negative reviews that I almost cancelled my order. I am glad I didn't. Many people stated that they had several ...

Pros: Pre-packaged Cons: Bad taste, unrefrigerated meats and chicken that tasted spoiled, rip-off
RIP OFF!!!!! The food was so nasty, even when hungry. Only one or two entrees resembled food. Most tasted rancid and on one occasion I threw up... for 2 days. The entree "Tuna casserole" looked and tasted like vomit. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! I ...

Pros: Easy planning, good food, nutritious food, fairly inexpensive. Cons: Substitutions (only a few-and returnable), no exit strategy besides knowing what a good portion is.
Of course any diet will work if it has realistic expectations and you stick with it. The problem is, those diets are usually hard work. The South Beach diet is amazing, but there is work involved. Eating while at work becomes difficult. With ...

Pros: Convenient. Nutritionally balanced. Great Website. Fairly tasty, satisfying food. Cons: Pricey ($300 per month). But you won't be buying many other groceries, fast food, etc.
I'm in my late 40s and have been overweight my entire life. I've never been able to stick to a diet (have tried Weight Watchers, Diet Center, a few others). The hardest thing has always been all the preparation that goes into cooking the correct foods. ...

Pros: Some of the food is quite good. Cons: Weight loss is slow, and they send you food you don't want.
I have been on Nutrisystem for 9 weeks. Out of 3 boxes of food (1 every 28 days) at least 1/4 of the food was not what I ordered. Last month, I called it in and they got the order wrong. This month, I did it online (by signing in and going to "update ...

Pros: Fast shipment, no need to count calories or weigh portions, its done for you Cons: You must shop for fresh items; the food is pretty bad, though they try hard.
The box comes monthly, you shop for fresh veggies and dairy. Plan on spending 2x what you would usually per month. It is easy, the food is pretty bad (but you don't want it too good -- no temptation here!). Once you know what is awful and what is just ...

Pros: Convenient, structured Cons: Additives, sodium, taste, price and gaining back of weight because of lack of lifestyle change
Food 101, anything that sits in a box for months and is still considered edible probably isn't healthy as far as an overall picture of fitness. Look at the additives (preservative and nitrates) and the EXTEME amount of sodium. Food tastes like plastic ...

Pros: None Cons: This was the most awful food I have ever tasted. Poor service.
I wanted to lose weight for medical reasons. I tried the NutriSystem diet. I can say without hesitation that the food was awful. It tasted as though someone had poured a whole canister of salt in the entrees. It was entirely overpriced. I waited for...

Pros: Easy, just heat and eat for the most part. Cons: Some costly items/Value for cost of cereal or oatmeal for instance.
If you look at their pamphlets, they say "results not typical" on the people they feature. I was skeptical, and almost didnt order. I took the plunge and 8 days later I have lost 8-9 lbs. I certainly dont expect to loose 40 pounds in a month ...

Pros: Convenience Cons: A little pricey. some food too spicey
I really liked the convenience of the packaged food. Brought it to work and the snacks were yummy. I thought this diet was healthy and I added a salad once a day. The portions were just enough. I was never real full after eating. I noticed a 2 to 3...

Pros: Fast to prepare and no thinking Cons: The taste!!
I saw the add for Nutrisystem on TV and checked out the company's website and decided to try the program out. I thought the program would be easy since I could order all of the food online and expect the delivery a few days later. When the package...

Pros: Couldn't be easier to purchase Cons: Couldn't be harder to actually eat
The ads on the tv made NutriSystem look so easy. Just pick your food and basically eat out of the box and lose weight. I knew I'd have to add dairy and fruit and veggies, but I also had to add things like a half cup of rice or pasta. Now, if I could...

Pros: Yummy lunches and snacks. Full refund return policy. Cons: Dinner meals mostly gravy. Tiny portions. Chocolate is Yuk!
I ordered the month's worth of food special where they give you 2 weeks free if you agree to automated delivery. I have to say the food was passable in their morning selections. It was excellent in their lunch offerings. Dinners were tasteless pods of ...

Pros: convienience, no counting, measuring, or weighing, nutritionally balanced. Cons: a bit pricey, chicken smells/looks/tastes like tuna-flavored cat food. I miss garlic bread.
If you are thinking about it, just try it. Don't listen to any of these people who say the food is terrible and tastes like dog food. I am a very picky eater, and yes, the chicken is awful, but every thing else has ranged from to edible/tolerable ...
