Pros: Cleans the air, I guess. White noise helps sleep
Cons: Only lasted 6 years. Replacement filters are expensive.

Purchased a 10500 Jan 2000 and had to spend $15 to mail it to repair center and replace the motor 4 months later.

Dec 2005 it just locked up. Had to throw away.

Every filter that is replaced is full of junk and dust but the replacement filters are a little pricey.

The background "white noise" helps drown out the barking dog next door.
