Pros: Close shave, strong battery, easy to clean, 30 day money back guarantee Cons: Can irritate skin
After 6 reliable years of using my original Remington rechargeable shaver, the little machine finally reached the end of it's time. It really put up a fight for those last few weeks, trying it's best to keep the little motor going. But in the end, it...
Pros: Long foil & blade life. Runs a straight week (or even more) without recharging. Cons: Like most shavers, may miss a few hairs, but the trimmer helps remove them.
Being a regular razor shaver for most of my life, I had to stop shaving because the only shave cream I ever used and liked, went out of production. So one day about a year ago I went shopping for something else, and decided on the DA-307 shaver by ...
Pros: Great Shave, smooth and comfortable Cons: Crappy trimmer feature
Let me preface this epinion with the fact that I've been using the same Remington MicroScreen shaver I bought in college 12 years ago, so when it finally conked out, I was devastated. As an earlier opinion from a woman stated, a man and his shaver have...
Pros: works good. Battery life is very good it does last about 3 weeks! Cons: doesn't shave as close as a blade, replacement parts don't fit.
I'm in the military and I got this product (Remington microscreen2 model DA307 electric Razor) for when I deploy I don't like using razors in the field since hot water is scarce. I tried to buy replacement cutter heads and they would not fit on this...
Pros: leaves you feeling smooth Cons: I paid a bit too much at Xmas
I don't know what it is about a man's razor or his shaver. But most women will admit that they use their husband's. I am one of those. For the 25 years I have been with my husband, I have always used his razors and shavers. Without his knowledge, of...
Pros: Close shave for legs, underarm, bikini area; Trimmer in convenient location for women Cons: None so far
Shaving has never been one of my favorite tasks, but with an infant at home it has turned into something I now dread. My disappearing behind a shower curtain for an extended period upsets the baby, which frustrates me. In addition, I am quite ...
Pros: Holds charge for long periods; Close shaves; Durable; Easy to clean Cons: Hair trimmer lacks good trimming capability
I bought the DA-307 Microscreen Razor 2.5 years ago. I have changed the blades and screen only 3 times. The razor is easy to use and gives a close shave. This razor is a chargeable razor only. You cannot use the razor unless it is charged. The ...
The Remington Microscreen is byfar superior to all razors at below the cost of alot of them. I purchased this model for about $60 and it does what it says, Shave as close as a razor or your money back. It isn't like the old rotary shavers, it has a...
Pros: Can be used on the go, re-chargeable, somewhat compact. Cons: Thick beards beware.
I have thick hair. I got this electric razor as a gift for Christmas and must say, I love it when it comes to cleaning off day to day stubble. However if I have missed a day due to long days of work or being wrapped up in a project and have 2-3 days...
Pros: Extremely close, comfy shave. Cons: Shape prevents it from standing up in the medicine cabinet.
I’m 60, have very fair, sensitive skin. I have had a full beard the majority of my adult life simply because I dislike shaving so much. I’ve trimmed around my beard with electrics most of my life, but still used a razor occasionally. ...
Pros: Works Great !! Battery holds a charge for quite a long time. Cons: There are none !!
I bought this one 2 or 3 years ago and it still works great !! I have Not had to replace the blades or screen yet.
Because it has a battery, it's portable, and great for trips. It also has a cord and you can plug it in and it instantly goes up to...
This razor is alright, I guess. It's easy to use and it has a decent battery life. It really doesn't give an entirely clean shave though. I take care of my grandfather and he uses it. If there is a stiff hair or a hair growing at some weird angle, it...
Pros: Quick shaving time
Price less than $40 Cons: Not as good as a blade, but what is?
I owned a Remington Intercept for many years, the M2830, and when it wore out I found that they weren't making it any more. After all the hype I opted for one of the better Norelco rotaries. I struggled with it for nearly two years, and finally got fed up with its slow shaving time. I sprung for this shaver, and I'm really glad I did. I shave in maybe 1/4 the time, and the shave is at least as close as the Norelco. I'll never again own a rotary, hype or no hype.
Pros: Price was reasonable. Cons: It didn't shave the hairs on my legs. The worst shave ever.
I've had extremely sensitive skin from day one, and shaving always results in nicks and razor burn if I shave with a blade more than twice a week. I've tried a more expensive Braun shaver that worked fairly well, but for a cost of over $100, I didn't think it was worth it. My legs felt like sandpaper within hours. So, I sent that product back, and tried the Remington DA-307. This is no exaggeration - the razor didn't even TOUCH the hairs on my legs. I couldn't believe it. I tried pressing harder with the razor, and I also tried a lighter touch. Nothing worked. At least with Remington's 30 day money back guarantee, I returned the razor back to the store (Target) and got a full refund, no questions asked. I have an old Lady Remington (about 15 years old) that works better than this thing did.
Great Shaver For The Long Haul by ajhkmr97 ,Dec 24 '03
Pros: Reliable, Affordable screens (when shopping on line), Dependable Cons: Like all screen razors, the screen does not last forever!
If you are looking for a shaver that is dependable and affordable, the Remington Microscreen2 DA-307 Electric Shaver hits the spot. This dual screened machine does well in it's class when comparing it to the TCT Microscreen3. Unlike the MS3, the MS2 model is not as noisey but will take maybe one to two more minutes to give you that shave thats close as blade.
As of yet, I have not tried the TCT MS2 but I have no doubt that if it performs like the standard MS2, you will get your money's worth.
Over all the only downside I can find from investing into any of the TCT razors is that the screens are considerable more expensive and deliver around the same quality of shave as standard razor models.
