Pros: Easy to use, large tank, some dishwasher safe parts. Cons: Expensive, a pain the take apart to clean, loud on "hi".
Nope, no catchy title. I honestly couldn't think of one, so this will have to do.

I purchased The Care Free Hunter 33200 Plus humidifier almost six or seven years ago. I use this in my family room which is large and has high ceilings. The walls are barn board and I feel requires humidity levels be kept at optimum levels. ...
Pros: Compact, easy-to-disassemble, easy to clean. Cons: Not as quiet as Hunter would have you believe.
We moved from Southern England (cold, damp, miserable) to Salt Lake City (hot, dry, high) last year and the first thing we discovered was that the air was incredibly dry. It seems obvious now, but it wasn't the top thing we were thinking about when my...
Pros: Effectively humidifies on 'High'. Design is sleek/streamlined and unobtrusive. Cons: Water sloshes out of shallow tray onto floor when removing tray to change the water.
The white noise when the humidifier is on 'High' works great for my children when they sleep. However, if you are bothered by the hum of a humidifier, buy a Vornado instead (I have six humidifiers in the house; the Vornado is the quietest). Also, when...
Pros: Did not use Cons: Difficult to fill water. High price.
I bought this item from a local Walmart store for $49. I bought it for the hype of low maintenance. The moment I opened, it and looked at the tank, I didn't like it, as it is really difficult to fill water. I packed everything back in and returned the...
Pros: Great doorstop. Cons: Loud, poorly designed, impossible to fully clean
If you're looking for a humidifier that's VERY time consuming and EXTREMELY difficult to clean, then this is the one for you. I have to say, it's about the worst small appliance I have ever purchased. Fully cleaning requires a LOT of disassembly, and even then there are so many nooks & crannies that you need to use a qtip dipped in vinegar. After a few months, the permafilter eventually loses tiny flakes which lodge in a foam insert the water passes through, which causes an erratic gurgling/running water sound. Very, very annoying. If you remove and rinse the insert, the gurgling stops, only to reappear when another flake gets lodged.
My sister, who bought one at about the same time, has experienced the identical problems. Save yourself the aggravation and skip this one.
I thought the permafilter sounded great, but wow, was I wrong. Don't be fooled.
